  1. I have a question and have no idea where to post it, so I figured this would be as safe a place as any. Are the fins on the Monogram pink Caddy 'vert separate from the body or are they molded to the body? I have a resin chopped hearse that is about the same year, but no fins. I'm looking for a donor kit that I might be able to source things from, like the chrome, fins, chassis, things like that. I would greatly appreciate the help if anyone has any info on where I might be able to find parts or a kit to source from. Thanks for reading. Shawn
  2. OK, David, two things. First I'm diggin' the Ramcharger? you have in the background in the top two pics...... And second......Are you in Bunker Hill, KS? If so, I'm in Salina.
  3. AAAAHHHHHHH, My eyes!!!!! I'm BLIND!!!! lol Good luck on the build and I'll see if I can find something to join in with as a build, even if it's already started (like most of my stuff is).
  4. Nice paint Tim. I'm always a sucker for a dark gunmetal gray. Which btw is possibly part of my color scheme, too.
  5. I would like to take a stab at your movie car project........Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry?
  6. Well I'm not much for taking pics DURRING my builds to show things off a bit, but here goes. Here are a few teaser pics of what I have been able to get done so far. The tabs to help mount the C5R rear suspension. The rear end mocked up. And a couple mocked up with the wheels and how she'll hopfully set after i get the front end figured out. OH, and the "body kit" I threw on there, too. Let me know what you think.
  7. Well since I've got quite the list myself, here goes nothing. '71 Hemi 'Cuda resto mod '64 Dodge 330 (replica of a friends drag car) '71 Dodge Charger (stock) '66 Chevelle wagon pro street '70 1/2 Camaro G-machine? '66 Nova pro street Shelby Cobra 427 S/C '70's-'80's Late model camaro dirt track car I think that should do it. I don't want to get to far ahead of myself, AGAIN. lol
  8. Is it to late to jump into this with both feet?
  9. Thanks for all the kind words fellas. I always try to put the most into my builds. There will be more like this to come, hopefully. Thanks again for looking.
  10. I started this build a while back and was finally able to finish it due to getting a replacement part from Mytricia. He was a great help. Now on with the pics.
  11. I had thought about doing that before after going to their site, but was thinking before some where I had saw a hood since the thing a few years ago was cowl hoods for everything. Thanks for the info Dave.
  12. This is what I would like to achieve. This is my buddy Shawn's S/S Dodge he races. I know I would have to graft in the pro stock scoop, but if I didn't have to graft in the cowl scoop it would just make it easier is all.
  13. Really!?!? Nineteen people looked at this thread and no one has any idea as to where I might find a cowl hood for the Lindberg 1964 Dodge 330 super stock kits?
  14. I'm looking for a cowl hood to modify for a build of a friends race car. I'm just not wanting to add the cowl scoop to the stock hood and then add another scoop to the top of that. If I were to be able to find a cowl hood to modify, it would be less work in the end. Can someone advise me as to where I might look for a cowl hood that will fit the Lindberg Dodge 330?
  15. When you added the spring pockets, did you attach them to the top of the frame rails or did you notch the frame to get them to sit tighter next to the floor pan?
