  3. Hi All... Everyone shows you the beautiful body paint jobs... But the one thing you don't see often is the beautiful engines in them. This Post is dedicated to the Beauty that is the Engine. Show us your Engines: Here's a few of my Engine builds: 1937 CORD 812 1949 Mercury Coupe 1955 Chevy Bel Air 1966 Pontiac GTO
  4. Thank you Bruce... I agree 100%
  5. Again, I started to play around with my camera and decided to make a display of an Auction House... One of my favorite Auto Auctions that I love watching on HD Channel is Mecum Auto Auction. It's a bit less formal and I believe more realistic in auction pricing than Barrett-Jackson. Barrett-Jackson auction prices are way out of price to the true value of a car. I feel that Barrett-Jackson is more for the Rich folks, while Mecum is more for the general public from wealthy people to the Blue Collar folks. PLUS, Mecum is more into the Muscle Cars and American Classics and it's allot more fun watching. It also gives me really good ideas on future model builds... That's the main reason I like Mecum More. But that's my humble opinion. Here's some of the pictures that I took of my models and made them look like if they were real cars in a Mecum auction: Let me know what you think of the photos.
  6. Finally finished this build. It's Mark Martin's 2007 US Army #01 NASCAR at the 2007 Daytona 500. Mark Martin lost the race just by a Bumper length. Here's the pictures of my finished project:
  7. Happy Birthday Ed!!! Hope you have a great one!! :)

  8. Happy Birthday!!! :)

  9. Jonathan - that is correct. It was a Shark. I'm really liking what you've done here. Great job.
  10. Doc - I have to say, those are some really cool looking Ratz. I like both. Both have a cool unique look. But I'm really diggin the decals on the gray one. Did you create those decals yourself or were they from another kit?
  11. Thanks a really cool looking model.
  12. WOW!!! Awesome job on both of them. They look like the ones on the pictures. Great Job!!
  13. Nice looking build.
  14. Really nice job on this build. I like it allot.
  15. Finally finished building my 2001 Corvette C5-R. This is the one that Dale Earnhardt Sr and Jr drove together at the Daytona Rolex 24 Hours Race. Hope I did it justice. Here's a picture of the actual car: Here's my build:
  16. Very nice build Walt. I bought this kit as well and I'm planning to build this same type. I also bought the 1950 F-1 Truck to go with it. Hope mine comes out looking as good as yours. How was the build?? Good and a pain? Any issues? Again, very nice looking build.
  17. Hi Eric - Thanks. I will bring it to the meeting next week. Plus, my crappy Paper Bag model build ... I hope . Not really feeling it. I wish I gotten anything else. Oh well...
  18. Thank you very much Walt. It took me two months and a few days to complete , but it was worth the time.
  19. Thank you Marty - Yup, it is Testors Inca Gold.
