  2. Got this straight from Dave of Model King. The actual art box that this new model kit will be coming in on. (I live only 20 minutes away from Dave of Model King... A great guy!!!)
  3. Hi Aaron - You are correct... It's Testors One Touch Lacquer Inca Gold #1839M Spray paint. With Testor's One Touch Wet Look #1834M Clear Coat.
  4. Ok, Here's the first pictures of the build: (hope you enjoy them). Primer, painted and decals applied to the body and clear coated. I know it's not 100% to the color of the actual car, but I must say, it's pretty darn close. Here's the body with the SS Hood
  5. That's a very good question Monty. as there's no Hobby Paint out there that will give you this color, I decided to use the next best thing... Find the closes color match and that's what I've done.
  6. Well, I'm on the final stages of my 1964 Chevy Impala SS - A Tribute build project to my neighbor Carlos. So, I've started preparing for my next building project... a 1969 Chevy Nova SS....   9. Hi Michael - Those springs are from the kit. I used black primer then hand brushed the red on them. It came out looking really good. It does pays to take your time on the little things.
  10. Thanks Charlie for the info... Got the 1931 Bugatti Royale Victoria by Lingberg Kit #6602. I got the old 1973 kit (per the Copyright date on the box): here's the picture of the box. Can't wait to start building this one. But I have to finish my other projects before I go into this one. I don't like leaving projects half done because I may never get back to it. Like the guy in Chasing Classics would say... Can't have a car collection without a Bugatti.

  18. Here's my few Hot Rods... After I finish building my latest project, I'm planning to go back and build a few more Hot Rods... I think it's time. My 1932 Ford 5 Windows - I named "The Golden Nugget" My 1932 Ford Speedwagon "Dan Fink's" My 1934 Ford Model 40A - a Snap-Tite Kit So, these are my Hot Rods (more to be built). Now, Show me your Hot Rods.

  23. Thank you everyone for the great comments... Well, here's another update: Engine, rear axle and X-Frame married together.
  24. Greg - Thanks for the heads-up about the A pillar. I will correct that soon. By the mean time here's some more pictures. The Engine is completed. All the wiring is done (so far).
