Matt, if you are doing this, I will definately jump on that. I have the red KW kit and I was looking to chop the sleeper into the single bunk. If you do that, I'll definately buy one. As for engines, which ones you planning on doing?
Cool. I may have been thinking of the 1973 brochure truck that appears again in the '74 brochure. It's also white and orange, but a different stripe pattern.
For those who read this post b4 I edited it, I mistakenly referred to the aftermarket visor sold by SourKraut as being made by G.W.Trucks. It's actually by The Back Yard Shed. Sorry about the mix-up. I have corrected the text to reflect this.
I recently hauled the truck pictured here from Brooklyn,NY to Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. Formerly owned by the NYC Dept. of sanitation, it's now part of the fleet at Bouldin's Waste. It's a 2001 Mack with a Heil body. Hopefully these will help anyone looking for pix of one up close.
