  1. This is a nice rig. The rack and toolboxes are a nice touch.
  2. Very cool idea Dingo. Nice build. It certainly is imaginative.
  3. Are you better than everyone in here because we happen to like trucks? What made you lower yourself to come into the truck page of this forum if you think those who like trucks are beneath you? You are entitled to your opinion, but as a trucker myself, I experience this kind of arrogant condescension fairly often. It's not neccessary, and it gets old. I enter this and other forums as a way to enjoy the hobby and yes, my love of trucks. This is the last place I thought I would run into stuck up people.
  4. Ryan, that was a cool link with great pix. Thanks 4 sharing.
  5. With my new job I've been pulling an RGN trailer these last 2 weeks. It's made by XL. It sparked my curiosity, so here is the link to the XL site. I'm presently pulling the XL 60. It's mechanically detached. Meaning, I have no hydraulics 2 assist me. There are good reference photos and line drawings. Enjoy. http://www.xlspecializedtrailer.com/
  6. LOL. I'm just glad 2 hear you were at least understanding about the whole cabover vs conventional thing.I couldn't believe how angry evreyone was, especially about the paintjob. That really seemed 2 ruffle feathers. I've seen quite a few cabovers recently, but it's not an everyday thing. I was a big Tranformers fan myself as a child, and I'm just glad that they didn't turn him(Optimus) into an SUV or something. Besides, during the tv show of the 80's, he was a Freightliner cabover(the toy bears the strongest resmeblence to that truck) which was a common truck at that time. By choosing a 379, they went with a truck that is fairly common now. It made sense 2 me at least.
  7. This looks good. Nice, simple build.
  8. That did create quite the controversy, didn't it. LOL
  9. http://www.aitruckmodels.com/pages/sb6_mer...nchsleeper.html Click on this link and you can view the sleeper. It's $10 plus shipping. It will take 2 AMT sleepers and some "cutting and pasting" to make one yourself.
  10. I shot this KW in Lincoln, NE. Shoemaker's Truck Station.
  11. Here's the K100 I was talking about.
  12. Nice truck, and a very creative diorama.
  13. That's a mighty fine re-creation of the paintjob. Excellent. Now, what is parked across from me is a blast from the Werner past. A late 80s Kenworth K100 Aerodyne C.O.E. that still has the strpies on the side. It sure brings back memories. If it's still here in the morning, I'll grab a few pix.
  14. This is a nice looking build. You did a nice job on the tanks. I notice no flaws since you got rid of the main flaw. That being the ugly seam on the ends of the tanks. Sweet color choice, too.
  15. I like it. It's different.
  16. Considering the length of the frame, the flat bed body is a great possibility for this truck. Click on the link to see what I'm talking about. The pic you're going to see isn't an aerodyne, but it is a KW cabover. Hopefully it helps with ideas. http://www.hankstruckpictures.com/pix/truc...est_coast04.jpg Below are some more ideas: http://www.hankstruckpictures.com/pix/truc...anzberro_pb.jpg http://www.hankstruckpictures.com/pix/truc...ding_frtlnr.jpg
