Thanks, it's the Tamiya kit. I decided semi-gloss black would look better than chrome or silver for the wheels.

All the lights have been installed into the rear fascia and the doors are done.

Thanks. Micro Metal Foil Adhesive.

I have an FXX Id like to build (in red) so I thought Id do a dry run with the standard Enzo kit first just to see how it goes together. There are no Grigio Medio Enzos (yet?). But I thought it would look good since the 458 and 430s Ive seen look nice. I used Ocean Gray as a facsimile. Ive already started painting and assembling the body. I used cigarette foil for the heat shield material. I know the interior should be carbon fiber from the factory, but I decided to carpet it with some old Testors tan that dries dead flat and coarse. To complement the tan I went with a Chamois color for the upholstery.

Wasn't there two "talks" or was it "Talk & Talk about you" in that first line? Had to check my Ipod for the group... But my earbuds are MIA so I couldn't play it to hear. (My) Little Red Book - Love I think it's a one hit wonder.

Thanks guys. It was worth it just for the entertainment. I finished the tie rod ends w/adjusters. Mostly brass with some aluminum. Purposely some wear to them as they tend to get some tool marks from being adjusted. I also got the upper control arm bushings and keepers made and installed.

Thanks Harry. I went back and cut the DC logo into the muffler. Not all that visible under the heat shield, but it is there. It’s a little easier to see in person. Was it worth the time and effort to add it? Beats me, but I wanted to see what it would look like.

Scratch Building an Aussie Ford Falcon **New update,15/1/18**
Scale-Master replied to ShawnS's topic in WIP: Model Cars
I continue to watch, (even though I don't comment much), and enjoy not only your process, but your (exceptional) results. I fully appreciate your willing to rework things to your satisfaction. Incredible work, very impressive on multiple levels. -
MCM Forum - expert work expected?
Scale-Master replied to Jantrix's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I have heard that and other similar opinions and comments about MCM more times than I can count. Another common and repeated observation is how a lot of guys do not care for the drama or the moderation here. Most with that sentiment agree on this point though, several years ago MCM was the place to go for a better alternative to Hobby Heaven, or pretty much any other model car forum. Many of the guys I've talked to who dislike this forum now made that decision after being MCM members years ago. And in my opinion, many of these are some of the better (dare I say best?) builders in the hobby. -
Just a point that it is getting some meat on it. It is certainly heavier than most kits I've built.

The first and only hit by Asia. Weren't they supposed to be the new Led Zeppelin at that time? Heat Of The Moment. Kinda ironic?

It's actually three decals. One for the stamped characters, California script and tag locator boxes. The another for each of the year and month tags, both of those applied to the tag material leftover from my rear car tags then stuck on like a real set of tags.

I did a two sided etch of the brass. Everything on the face was etched away to make the characters stand proud, and at the same time I was etching just the characters on the back in reverse to render them in relief. "It's all in the artwork..."

Thanks Pete. It's just entertainment... It was getting more tedious to get all the wires routed to their proper locations, hence the subject change... Now while the paint dries on the muffler I took another stab at it, the wires from the ignition box to the distributor should be the last of those for this side, at least in the lower part area.
