  2. Thanks DD, if you have any up-close engine/cockpit shots that would be great. Also does anyone know of a decal sheet that has the "Briggs Chevrolet, Kendall GT-1, etc.????. I have checked around the aftermarket and have not run across them yet. Thanks, Charlie Pro Tech

  5. stevez, the earlier version is pic in my previous post. I will be using a Polar Lights F/C kit for the frame. Jim did go to a digger frame I'm guessing 72ish. khart, I was hoping someone would release this car, a great piece of history, but I guess I'll have to go the fab route. Charlie Pro Tech
  6. Thanks guys, Jay, the gas cap and window cranks I don't think would be too hard to scratchbuild, the wipers would be another story. Sorry but I don't have a lead for any of these items. Good luck with your build. Charlie Pro Tech
  7. I thought I would post this pic (I just got a scanner) of the actual car I will try to replicate. I took this pic (when I was a kid) in the pits sometime in 70-71 at a Maryland track. Just thought some of you might enjoy it. Charlie Pro Tech
  8. Wayne, thanks again, yeap that's the car with Briggs Chevy. Bob, cool tidbit of history, thanks. Chris, thanks for these, even though this is not the exact time period of the car I will try to replicate that interior shot (that I've never seen before) will give me more ammo to refer back to. Thanks again guys I really appreciate it. Charlie Pro Tech
  9. Hi Guys, here's another 1/16 - 1/18 scale part I'm plugging....Uh... I mean introducing . It's a machined aluminum OEM style coil (comes with coil boot). It sells for $3.25 and is available now. Till next time Charlie Pro Tech
  10. Thanks guys, Batzilla, yeah there is alot of pics of a Jungle Jim Camaro on line but I'm looking for the time/period pics (blue car) that he had the Briggs Cvevy dealership sponsor on the front fenders (as this is the car I remember seeing many times as a kid at Maryland tracks) If you run across any others not posted here please let me know. Thanks! Wayne, thank you very much, there are a couple pics there I have not run across. This will help me out alot. Thanks again bud! Chris, thanks for checking for me and look forward to seeing what you found. Charlie Pro Tech
  11. Hi Bob, no, this one had a hemi (426 I believe). Thanks, Charlie Pro Tech

  15. ................ ....No Charlie Pro Tech
  16. Cato, good eye! yeah thay's a design I came up with when I did my 1/25 harness set. It's a user friendly, no hassel assembly that's very convencing to the eye. Instead of painting I usually cut a sliver of the belt material used to add to the buckles. Another trick I found was to use a small brass brush (the kind that looks like a toothbrush) to polish the buckles, it works great! Charlie Pro Tech
  17. Thanks guys! and comp 1839, I figured that  Charlie Pro Tech
  18. Chris, nice! great idea with the O-rings. Charlie Pro Tech
  19. Tyrone, looking sharp! you did a great job "as usual" on that engine detail Charlie Pro Tech

  21. Chris, WOW , the panels look great. Great job on the beading!!! Just one question, was your hand sweating the least little bit when you started to apply that bead??? hahaha  Look forward to more!!! Charlie Pro Tech
  22. Tyrone, plumbing looking great and nice change-up on the line color. I have never tried the Sharpie approch but have used Polly Scale (railroad water based paint) Black and it works great for this too. Look forward to more buddy! Charlie Pro Tech
  23. John, another killer work of art! Love the level of detail "as always" you include in your builds and I am honored that you use my products on them, thank you! I also really like the pic of the engine/headers "in your face" from the passenger side, from that level it really gives you that feeling of "is this a model or real". Look forward to the next one! Charlie ProTech
  24. Tyrone, great start, looking forward to your killer engine detailing Charlie Pro Tech
