  1. That is gonna be one awesome build.Great idea, now I know what those butt-ugly cars are good for!
  2. Lookin good so far! Nothin like a box stocker to get yourself out of a slump and get the juices flowing again.
  3. Super build! I have a soft spot for tubs and you really pulled this one off.I really like the interior-clean.Keep up the good work!
  4. I am really interested in a CH series also.It is one of the main trucks that I work on every day.I have looked all over and haven't found one either.
  5. I don't know what it is about that body style of Chevelle, but I love em'.Lookin good so far!
  6. Hi all,Just thought I would share my first build after a 6 year lay-off.Nothing to special, mostly box stock except for plug wires and a few photo-etch nut and bolt heads.Thought I had better keep this one simple since it's been awhile. The build went smooth except for the Model Master chrome foil I used was junk(Left adhesive residue everywhere).Looking at some of the awesome builds on here really gets me motivated to build at the next level.
  7. Hi all, Could someone please tell me the model of engine is in the AMT GMC Astro?I am a truck mechanic but haven't worked on anything that old. Also anyone know where I could find some reference photos of this motor. Thanks
  8. Smooth as usual, just like all your builds.
  9. WOW!!! Outstanding job. I really love the engine and exhaust.I agree with GTMike send a mirror with it,it would be a shame to hide that exhaust.
  10. Yea AMT is missing the boat on big trucks.Look at what the Tyrone Malone trucks are getting on e-bay!The Bandag Bandit truck was my first model and I want to build another again but not at the price they are going for.Mono's Pete release looks promising though.
  11. Mackinac is right about the springs.I am a truck mechanic for Ryder contracted to Tyson foods.I work on the trucks that they use to haul chickens and they are CH series Macks with camel back springs, tough as nails but rides like ######! LOL.I would use the air ride from the Pete 359 also.
  12. Here's mine a 12x12 room built in the corner of my shop. All of the lumber came from a discount lumber yard near me.Cheap Wally World shelves and a cheap plastic table from Staples.Grand total of about $300.00.
  13. Anyone know where I can find a set of Ryder truck decals?I really don't want to buy a vintage AMT Louisvile to get a set that might be junk. Thanks.
  14. Super work!I love to see this level of design in a model. Also, great job incorporating your hobby into your school work.
  15. Thanks a million guys. Thats what I was needing.
  16. I think I am gonna get a six-pack set up and hack one of the carbs off of it.If I remember some of the Mono mopars had a nice six-pack set up. Thanks for the help.
  17. Hey guys,Could you tell me where I can find a Holley 2bbl carb?Or what kits came with one? Thanks.
  18. Yep it is,It's the Mob Sled.If anyone likes this type of truck check out www.chromeshopmafia.com for some cool custom trucks.I get alot of ideas and inspiration from there.
  19. WOW!,nice truck.Glad I am not the only one that likes'em slammed. My current project is a slammed, chopped Pete along the lines of this.
