I'm working a Ford Transcontinental from KFS. I used a Italeri FH16 kit for the chassis. The wheels be changed. The main project in this case is the traler not the Transconti. The trailer is one of the kits that the Dutch model Truck Club (DMTC) had sold at the on the Road Show, Jabekke/Belgium. It represent a 2 axle style trailer from the 80's. It is a cnc milled kit where you have to add details like brakes, wheels & tires etc.. The kit includes a simple spring suspension design. I had change this with a trailer suspension kit together with some York brake drums and trailer axle kit from KFS. The load will be one of the 20ft trailer from Italeri. The wheels & tire combination will be some doubles.

This time I was looking for a that Ford had designed for the UK market in 1932. It was the Ford Model Y. The design of the Y was in 1933 used for the 1933 US models. To make it a bit harder I had asked for the Coachbuilder of this Drophead Coupé. It was build by Salmson & Sons from Tickford/UK. Later known as Tickford. To be presice this car is a 1933 Ford Model Y Cairn Drophead Coupé Chassis no. Y18680. One of only 4 cars build by Salmson & Sons on a Model Y chassis from 1932 to 1934. All of the four car still exist, 3 in the UK and one in Germany. The last you can see on the picture. The picture shows it in the original yellow/black paint job. Now it is green and Black. It was repainted 2010 - 2013. Since 2 years it is mine.

The in question is a 1956 Facel Vega FV2B convertible. Onthe english wikipedia side it is menationed as a FVS, so therefore this is also correct. The FV2 / FV2B was build from 1955 - 1956. And it can be identified from its presuccsor FV/FV1 by the panoramic windscreen. the differences between the different variants of the FV2/FV2B/FV3 are under the hood (Chrysler engines) except the FV3B and FV4. Thes models where only build as coupes. The other verarinats could be ordered as coupe or a convertible. The body of the FV-Series was in pricipal an extented version of the Ford Comete body.
