This a 1963 Vauxhall Cresta PA. This is one was assembled inn Biel, Switzerland By GM Suisse SA. Due to the fact that a new quiz is on going I will give you the solution for this quiz. No announcement of solution to this quiz I will give you the answer to this truck quiz. Industrias Aeronáuticas y Mecánicas del Estado (IAME) Rastrojero Diesel NP-66 from 1952 - 1969 (Article in spain). I don't know who had sent in the correct answer so nobody will get a recommendation. I think that I found a car that makes some of you thinking in the wrong way. This is not a Facelila, Facel Vega Facel II or Facel 6 or a HK500. This is a 1965 Facel Vega Facel III (sorry German side) powered by a 1.8l Volvo engine. This car replaced the Facelila that was powered by an 1.65 l engiene that was developed by Facel Vega and this engine suffered from high oil comsumption and burned pistions. The high number of engine blow up's led to financial problems and ruined the image and reputation of Facel Vega. As a result of the ill fated Facelila Facel Vega introduced the Facel II 1963. The Facel III was distinguish by the engine, headlights, grill , rear fender, trunk lid, taillights and dashboard to the Facelila. ( I hope that I'm grammatically correct - I hate gramma). The Facel II was build from 1963 - 1964. After 432 cars production ends and Facel Vega was history. I have to stop this unhealthy discussion. I have to break a lance for Jose (Big Messer). After the death of Harry P. we were looking for someone who takes over the old Autoquiz. Otherunicorn jumped in and later I as in charge. I had added some new ideas like truck quiz, taillight quiz or one off. Some works well some not. Jose is new in this section and he had an idea for a quiz. The truck is an interesting subject and not that easy to find. He had started the quiz without knowing that I usual do the quiz. How should he know this? There is no information who should do the quiz, there are only rules. I don't want to be the one and only who does the quiz. I can remember that other members did the quiz since I took over the quiz section from otherunicorn. Some ask if they could do the next quiz or sent interesting cars to me as a quiz idea. In the first moment I was surprised that somebody had started a new quiz, but then I said ok I don't have to start a new one. I had sent him the answer for this quiz and we chat about how we usually do the quiz. I gave him some advises like adding a number in the header and that he should attach the rules to a new quiz. For me it is ok that Jose had started the quiz. And Ihope that my answer is correct

As far as I understood has Chassis GTP2 or TX-2 have an Allison 250C18 turbine . Here is a video of at Jay Leno's Garage. BAsed on a spare chassis GTP3 was build with a Allsion 250C18 turbine but without a waste gate. Chassis GTP1 or TX-1 has a an original Continental TS325-1 turbine installed after its restoration.

This is an later installed Allsion turbine.

Not from Fujimi but Irtaleri has a 40Ft container trailer and 2 20ft trailer

Today I got the first kit of the new container series from Fujimi. The scale is 1/24 or so. There will be a total of 5 different colors of the 20ft Container. I had to build one of them and compared it with the Italeri 20ft container. The level of details is better compared to the Italeri one. Specially the doors are much better. On of the container sides can be either be in transparent plastic or in green like in my case. The major issue with this kit is that the container locks stands out of the shape of the container body not within the structure. This means that it is al tleast 2 mm or 0,078" too long compared to the Italeri container, And this is the reason why it doesn't fit on the Italeri 20ft container trailer or the DMTC 20ft container trailer. So we are modeller's so it should be an easy takes to modify the container. Here some pictures. The orange container idsthe Italeri one.

Based on the car that is unsafe at any speed Bertone build this show car that was presented at the Gevena Motor Show in 1963. The car is called Chevrolet Testudo. GM wanted to promote the Corvair sales in europe and the ask Pininfarina and Bertone to build a car. Bertone's Giorgetto Guigaro designed the body on a 14" shorter Corvair chassis. Thanks, as far as I know is the Mazda K360 the only car model that they offer. KA-models is know for their detailing sets for various car models and stuff for shops and aircraft models
