  1. I've always wanted to build this car as I am a big fan of Max. Thanks for the look at it, I may have to pick one of these kits up.
  2. Absolutley wicked !!!
  3. Heres a little somthing I've been working on. Its the Phantom Deuce from AMT on R-M fenders. The entire engine is from Replicas and Miniatures, I originally orderd it for a 30 Woody, but I fell in love with this setup. Paint is Tamiya Maroon with pearl clear and Tamiya Gloss Aluminum with pearl clear. I still need to polish the paint. I used MCG brake dics and calipers. I have more photo-etch stuff to add including a grill and interior parts.
  4. Seasons Greatings from my workbench to yours !!
  5. I've been messing around with this Model Master Assaultinator kit. Still needs to be finished up.
  6. I have not completly decide on what wheels to use , but I might use these.
  7. I am just about ready to start this project. It's an old Revell kit from 1974. Pretty typical from the time period. It has opening doors, detailed interior, a little 4 cylinder engine, and tons of ejector marks. My version will have an updated 32 frame and suspension, modern wheels and tires, and an Ardun flathead with a SCoT blower. I ordered the engine from Replicas and Miniatures. I am not sure exactly what to do with the interior, but I have a couple of ideas. The pic shows a very rough mockup.
  8. WOW !! That is a stunning build. The color fits it.
  9. WOW nice work!! I've always been interested in this kit ,but until now I have never seen any pics of whats inside the box.

    Tall T

For my first post here I thought I'd show you all the latest build that I've completed. This is Jimmy Flintstones resin Tall T body on an AMT chassis. It has the engine from AMT's Stude, 59 caddy tailights, and PE wire wheels from Replicas and Miniatures. The paint is Testors Sublime laquer with Tamiya pearl clear, and Tamiya clear over that. Hope you all like.
  11. Hi ... I am new here, but not to building. I've been building for over 30 years now, and still loving it. I like to concentrat on short track stock cars and street rods , but I'll build almost anything on wheels. It looks like you all have a great board here, and I hope I can contribute something positive. Feel free to take a look at some of my work at my site. http://highspeedlowdragmodels.bravehost.com/index.html
