  1. ...Yeah, 20 dollars isn't so bad now!
  2. If that's the case I'm surprised you were able to post that!
  3. Just don't throw them at the wall!
  4. Wow...I thought the $20 I'm paying is bad.
  5. Trust me, if models were still $1.49 there'd be pieces of styrene all over my room!
  6. I started when I was like...7? 8? I got the AMT '71 Charger, my dad painted it for me. It was orange. Talk about glue bombs! A year later, I got the Revell C6 Corvette. That sat around for a while and my dad kept saying, "We'll build it someday". I realized that wasn't going to happen So I took out my Testors paint marker, and painted the ENTIRE body!! Needless to say, it was yet another glue bomb. One of our friends got me a Revell '32 Ford Coupe. I ALMOST pulled the paint marker out for the body, but I decided to wait it out for spray paint. It turned out okay. Then I got the Revell Yenko Camaro. I'd say this is the one that really got me into building. I could go on all day about all the models I've built, but I don't want to bore you
  7. Nice van!! Yes, your picture works
  8. There is a chance that when the site moved that it was lost.
  9. Welcome to the forum! Those first models are what I WISH my best ones would look like! Good stuff!
  10. Thanks guys. I think I'm just going to put a Badger 350 on my Christmas list
  11. The problem is solved now, so I'm happy
  12. Thanks guys!! Luis, I just might have to get a Badger 350. I never knew that they were only $50.
  13. If that's the case, you only changed your photo. There's a tab under "Change Photo" called "Change Avatar". Try that
  14. Thanks guys! What's the best "spray" chrome that won't make me go broke?
  15. Thanks Larry! No Purple Pond for this one, if I decide to fix it, I'll just mask it off and spray it.
  16. Yup! And thanks for all the time you have put in this forum period!
  17. I was having the same problem. When putting it in I broke off the quarter glass and I said something I really shouldn't post here...
  18. Thanks guys. Actually the wheels for the build I'm doing are polished aluminum now that I think about it.
  19. I need it for wheels, and I'm not getting an airbrush only for Alclad...I prefer spray cans anyway
  20. Thanks Richard, but I was so mad I didn't take pictures of what made me disappointed On the rear quarter panel I got some tacky glue on it. No big deal, right? WRONG. When I tried to get it off, the paint came off and the paint is under 5 coats of clear! Oh well. I'm not letting it go on the shelf like that so I have to figure something out.
  21. I would appreciate it if anybody could post a picture of Stainless Steel Buffing Metalizer that's already been buffed. I want to see how close to chrome it is. Thanks!
  22. Very nice!!! I'm following this one
  23. I JUST read about that in Hot Rod magazine a couple hours ago!
