This has always been one of my favorite cars, are you going to build it with twin turbos like the 1:1?

Are they the Phoenix Models hinges? I saw those online the other day but I couldn't figure out how to change the currency into US dollars on their website so I could buy some.

I'm building a 36 ford and I was wondering what kind of hinges I should use to make the hood open the correct way where it is split down the middle and folds up like wings as it opens. I was thinking of using some kind of piano hinges but I'm having trouble finding some that would work.

Yes, the primer will help the paint stick to the plastic.

A coat of metalizer or a good sealer will cover the orange, and when I do candy paint jobs I use either gold or silver as a base depending on what effect I want.

Heres my most recent finished build, I was hoping to enter it in the Revell/Gearz contest but the pics won't upload. I scratch built the front subframe, front and rear suspension, core support, fuel injection, and shifter. The front seats are slightly modified 2002 Camaro pieces and the rear seats are from a 69 Camaro. I also used the bumpers and lower valances off of a 69 Camaro and a hood scoop from a 69 corvette. Paint is DuPont Tectic Gray Pearl with Nason urethane clear. Let me know what you guys think!

I've used small half round styrene with good results on a few 57 chevys.

Meguiars scratch x is the best compound I've found yet.

Are you using paint that is made for airbrush use?

Does anyone know where i can get a small sheet of photo etch screen to make grills out of? I need some for a 69 nova I'm building and i don't want to spend the money on a full detail set for it since I would only be using the grill. Thanks, Billy
