  1. You could channel the body over the frame rails to drop it really low and still maintain the kit suspension.
  2. I don't think it has the stock grill, but I'm not 100% sure about that.
  3. Tommy is right, heres a pic I took of the door without the door panel on it.
  4. Here they are, Thanks again for posting this!
  5. what I meant by that is it will have the fender flares, fender vents and blacked out trim like a GNX. I probably should have said it will be a "Body Clone" of a GNX with a whole different drivetrain and wheels.
  6. I would think you could, it's not your fault the piece didn't fit in the first place.
  7. for the molds I used RTV Silicone mold making rubber and I'm not sure of the resin brand, it was some my mom got me for Christmas.
  8. Thanks! I'll be using this one in a 36 ford.
  9. Nice! I like seeing stock looking builds like this one every once in a while.
  10. A half finished buick GNX clone with a 350 Chevy instead of the turbo V6... These pics were taken a while ago, it now has a set of Torq Thrust wheels and most of the bodywork is done. I should have it finished by the end of this summer.
  11. I finally decided to try my hand at casting a full engine. I used the Revell 2010 Camaro engine as a master. Let me know what you think, Billy
  12. Make an altered wheel base drag car!
  13. Steering wheels resting on seats and impossible suspension set ups.
  14. I might be able to make it.
  15. Great job! Unfortunately, I know of four 1:1 packards that look just like your model that have almost no hope of being restored.
  16. When I can, I try to get first issues since the molds were fresh when the kits were produced, but I build everything I can get.
  17. Thanks for posting this! I just used your technique on my 69 Nova project and it worked great.
  18. We have one at work right now, I will look at it and let you know.
  19. I built a Sprint car chassis for someone on the SA forum a few weeks ago. I definitely don't consider my self a professional builder, but I am always willing to try new things and learn as much as I can.
  20. I'm not a huge Mustang fan, but this one is SWEET! Great job!
  21. Well I'm not driving regularly yet, but I'm sure I'm going to be spending a lot less on model related stuff once I am. Especially with the terrible gas mileage I'm probably going to get once I finally put my 350 into my Regal.
  22. Art is right, check the labels on the can. Also, make sure the primer is completely dry, if it isn't, the evaporating solvents from the primer will escape throught the color coats and create the "cracking" effect.
  23. I've been following your build closely, how are you planning on making the grill? I was thinking about maybe using brass rod glued together side by side but there has to be an easier way.
  24. I will NEVER stop using my airbrush!! it's my favorite part of building models.
  25. ^^^ What Andy said. But to solve the current problem, try using some polishing compound on the prints and see if they level out.
