  1. Cool Merc! Great idea using a hemi, you sure don't see that too often.
  2. I ran into this problem a while back on a pro mod body. After trying all kinds of things I brushed some spare primer I had from working on my 1:1 on in a thick coat and wet sanded it until it was smooth.
  3. I say extremely nice model.
  4. That looks AMAZING! I cant wait to get my hands on one! Oh, and I vote for a 56 packard clipper to be next
  5. Thats what I did with the my left over revell body, I can post some pics if you want to go that direction with this.
  6. Almost looks like the sides of my dune buggy without the sheetmetal body panels.
  7. I used a revell chassis under mine, and scrapped the original crappy one.
  8. Thanks Gregg for the best forum around!
  9. PM sent.
  10. A CORRECT 69 cougar, any of the newer silverados, more pro mod kits.
  11. Ok Thanks! That helps alot!
  12. Great looking paint jobs! was the flaked clear on the blue 56 chevy part of the "Paint Shop" line of paints that they sell at auto parts stores? (I think the cans have a 69 camaro on the side)
  13. I might be able to help, which need for speed are they on?
  14. Heres a viper v-10 in a 69 charger
  15. I'll probably get in on this one too, I'll probably build a model of the 1:1 69 cougar my step dad is resto-modding with a 460 big block.
  16. Now I can attempt to build this one
  17. That turned out great! I like all the little details like the beadlocks and how you can see a little bit of the grill from the side!
  18. Great how to! I 'm going to try this on my f-100.
  19. Thanks for the link John! that is exactly what I need. Ryan, I am planning to do what you said with the aluminum grill.
