this is a kit i got for christmas and finished in about 4 or 5 days. its the revell 79 camaro z/28 3n1 street burner kit. i enjoyed building it. i dont remember there being too many fitment issues. i built the kit box stock drag racing version. the decals are from about 5 different kits. i added an rpm tach and some braided spark plug wires. the wires are a little hard to see since the flash on my camera is broke. but here it is.

heres a kit i got for christmas and put together pretty quickly. its the revell 68 corvetter roadster 2n1 with a supercharged 427 cu in. V-8 . i built it box stock with rear slicks and front tires i found in one of my parts boxes. i didnt really like this kit too much. everything seemed to go together crappy. i dont know maybe it was just me and some of you have had better luck with the kit. the only thing i did like about this it are the rims it came with. the tires were too hard and shiney so i found four new tires. the color is testors one coat laquer de ja blue. i didnt clear it or anything. it has a little orange peel but when it was all said and done i didnt feel like messing with it anymore. hope you guys enjoy it. and comments/ questions welcome

this is the inspiration of my build. the kit is a revell tuner series hatch. ive built on before and loved the kit so this is my second go at it. this one will be slighty different then the first.im going for the jdm look with this one. im also working on a turbo set up for it. these are the rims that came with the kit. they are hand painted with testers red enamel. quick mock up. the interior is done for the most part. just gonna add some tachs

ive had this kit for years. it was one of the last kits ive built when i was about 12. with in the past 6 months i got back into model building after not doing for about 8 years. i believe its the amt 66 nova pro street.after digging it out and most of the parts missing i decided to turn into a junker.the original paint underneath is a two tone black and yellow. i painted the white rear panel to look like it was replaced and added the sophisticated finishes two part metallic surfacer and rusting solution. it also has a torn headliner

after looking through multiple forums i havnt found anything. i have the revell 32 ford sedan street rod kit that i want to make a rat rod out of. my question is can i use the original frame and "z" it or would it be easier to scratch build a frame? any tips would be awesome since i have never done anything like this before
