  1. Are you sure you're ok, stretching sprue for entertainment? I will admit, it can be fun though, playing with plastic and flames, but I still haven't mastered it, that's for sure. Thanks for the encouragement everyone.

Cool, great build. And nice photography too!
  3. That is sweet, awesome little combination. Great job.
  4. Well time for an update to show that I have done some work on this, even though there is not much to show for it. This build has officially done my head in. Literally every part has been painted at least twice. As for the guards, they took me 4 attempts to get right. 1st - polished a fraction too much, and went through the clear and couldn't save it... 2nd - think I tried redoing too quickly, sprayed clear on and a couple of drops of clear spat out of my airbrush and discoloured the base coat... 3rd - got a fisheye in the clear, could've polished out but I tried the old 'put a drop of clear in the eye, everyone else does it trick', and it crazed my base coat in that spot... 4th - finally worked, I went back to all my basics of painting. The problem now is that my confidence is so shot, that I'm having trouble finishing it, as I don't want to wreck it, it took me hours to get the courage just to mask and spray the running boards. Anyway, you will see that it is slowly getting there, I want to finish it so I can start my next one and put this behind me. Hope the pics are ok, thanks for looking.
  5. You've done a good job on this. I like the details on the front seat, neat.
  6. That's great, I've been wanting to build one of these for a while, now even more. Colour suits it perfectly.
  7. Thanks everyone, it was a fun build just to see if I could do it. Rear wheels are nothing special, just Pegasus 23 inch aluminium sleeves. Turbos and intercoolers are made by these people, The Parts Box.
  8. I'd be proud of that one too, well done. I can see why it won big.
  9. Nice job, very neat.
  10. I think the real car is very ugly, but your model is amazing. The work that has gone into it, wow. I just want to know how you're going to handle the body without rubbing the Alclad off, have you coated it with anything?
  11. Great build, it's interesting seeing it come together. Your doing fine work.
  12. I'm speechless! You large scale builders are a breed apart, well done.
  13. WOW, that is amazing work! Will keep watching this one come to life. Where did you get the wheels from?
  14. Nice job on your Porsche. The engine bay detail is excellent. Well done.

    Neat job Brett.
  18. I think I've seen this before. Love the colour happening here.
  19. Cool combo, and I really like the T'Bird. Colour is great and suits them really nicely.
  20. How ya goin 'Doorslammerfan'? The orange turned out really nice. I was possibly going to use the same colour combination for an upcoming build.
  21. Sweet job and extremely neat. Nice details in the engine bay.
  22. Great job on the bodywork and decals, the whole model looks good actually. Nice.
