  1. Seems how I have started my Ducati 916 build, I thought I'd show you guys my last Ducati build from last year. This is my interpretation of the Tamiya D'Antin Pramac Ducati GP4, and I have to admit, I love how this one turned out. Built straight from the box, the only additions were: - some photoetch nuts and bolts - replace some tubing with clear - scale motorsport carbon fibre Paint is Tamiya Matt Black straight from the can, no polishing required. This was the first model that I built with basically all parts, except for the fairings, airbrushed. Thanks for looking and your interest.
  2. Very cool, I am in awe of your techniques. Can I copy this if I ever get the courage to do something like this? Also, what is the idea of the hairspray, and do you do this before or after your salt? And does this mean your not brushing the salt off this one?
  3. Looks good with the red on. I don't think the colour difference will be that noticeable, the two pieces aren't right next to each other. But I know, it's something that would annoy me too.
  4. Love your idea for the airbags, looking really good.
  5. Look forward to seeing how this pans out, and learning more about weathering.
  6. Looks very nice, is the body airbrushed?
  7. Cool builds there, I like the black and red International best.
  8. This one is still my favourite of yours, so far...
  9. So cool!

  12. Nice, turned out really well.
  13. I love this movie. Can't wait to see how you make this one.
  14. Very cool and very different.
  15. Very nice build, well done.
  16. That's a cool little model, nice one.
  17. This looks familiar...
  18. Interesting subject to build, will follow this one.
  19. An awesome build, well done. Can't really say anything else.
  20. That is an awesome build, well done.
  21. Great looking build, I'm watching.
  22. Welcome to my new build, my version of the Ducati 916. I originally built this kit about 13 years ago, it was my favourite build, but it met with an untimely fate. So I'm tackling this one again, it will be interesting to see if it turns out any better than the last. Ducati's have always been one of my favourite bikes, and my definite favourite is the Ducati 1098 Tricolore version. This is a limited edition paint scheme that Ducati have used on some earlier models, unfortunately the 916 was never offered with this paint. And with Tamiya unlikely to release a new 1098, for the present anyway, I'm going to see if I can replicate the Tricolore paint scheme and do my version as if it were offered on the 916. This is the kit, what the 1098 Tricolore scheme looks like, and the start I've made. I've got the body parts glued together, now need to fix and sand the joins. I also got the stand done, tried a couple of new techniques that I wanted to try, let me know what you think. Anyway, thanks for looking.
  23. Me too, I like the these cars, interested to see how it turns out.
  24. Thanks Mike!
  25. Looks great, are we getting a video on this technique as well? If so, can't wait.
