  1. Looks good with the decals on. Nice work so far.
  2. I couldn't agree more. Right now I'm building a Revell 32 Ford, every body part has been painted twice, the guards I have stripped and painted 4 times. Everything has been test fitted and is perfect, but as soon as I go to glue it, it doesn't want to fit. I'm now using Epoxy glue for parts of it and that seems to work really well. I can't wait to finish so I can start my next one, a Tamiya kit, so I know it will fit together nicely.
  3. That's the most realistic slot car I've ever seen, excellent work.
  4. Sweet, the engine work is really nice.
  5. That's a neat wheel hub. You're so neat with your work, excellent.
  6. In regards to trailers, we have in general 40, 45 and 48 ft. Roadtrains will generally still use 40 ft tri-axle trailers. Try these websites and see if they are of any use: Vawdry trailers, Freighter trailers, Outback trailer brochure which is quite interesting, Moore Trailers.
  7. Nice modifications, well done.
  8. Well, we're slowly getting there, the light is at the end of the tunnel finally. Here is pretty much the completed chassis, I only have to add on the rear shocks that I made, but it is easier to do that now everything is in place. The owner had to install the brake booster upside down to make room for the exhausts, but don't worry, everything was fabricated so it works as normal. (I'm pretty sure, anyway) Thanks for looking.
  9. Headers and exhaust have been painted in Alclad steel. Thanks for the kind comments.
  10. Very nice. And that would have been my answer, the metal transfers should be applied to a semi gloss or gloss finish to stick better.
  11. Very realistic, well done. Look forward to seeing it with the truck when done.
  12. As far as I knew, the Alclad gloss black base is an enamel. That's why Alclad topcoats rub off regular Tamiya black acrylic lacquer, Alclad needs to go over an enamel base. The company itself is called Alclad 2 Lacquers. I've had no problems using it over Tamiya primer.
  13. Cool concept, where are the wheels from?
  14. So cool I'm speechless.
  15. Interesting, I don't remember what this car even looked like, so I'm sure you'll do a good job.
  16. Even the chrome base looked quite cool, but the orange is definitely very nice.
  17. Oh yeah, that's what I'm talking about. Great job.
  18. Nice clean build. What kit is this one? I always liked these earlier Beemers.
  19. Good start, its funny, I've built this kit as well, and it took me 5 painting attempts to get right.
  20. Beautiful wheels, I will keep your website in mind.
  21. Great job on this, engine is nicely done. Although I think it looked better before the flames in just plain red, IMHO.

    Nice job Brett.
  23. Engine is now ready for installation. I went for ceramic coated headers on this, and will have matching exhaust. Thanks for looking.
  24. Cool, like your upholstery.
