Kurt,
Awesome !! Sure looks like a great day and thanks for posting all the pictures. Saw some

I was wondering if someone could give me some technical details on how these big brutes operated as never saw one up here in Canada. Most of the older big stuff that
I remember was either Holmes 750s or 850s for the big stuff or something of a one off
manufactured unit.Looking at pics and the Pete kit did the upper reel at the top control the rise and lower of the boom ?? And also how was the telscopic inner boom
controlled.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks Rick

Need some help here, I just picked up the reissue Road Boss and maybe its just me but the hood doesnt seem to fit
properly at the rear. Its really wide and with the way it sits it covers the bottom of the cab windshiled location so
the molded wipers and vent opening are completely covered over.So the question is it just me looking at it wrong or
is it the design. Cab seems either too narrow or hood to wide.
Someone could shed some light would be appreciated.
Thanks
Rick
So heres my question of the day, now that the Lonestar is out, whos going to try one of these

I remember a few years back an article on how to build a Holmes in one of the model mags. I believe it was a 750 if not mistaken. Anyone else remember that one and does anyone have a copy they could scan ??
Thanks
Rick
Definitely going to try and make it !! Supposed to be in Kingston that day but hope to be back at a reasonable
time and if I am I will be there. Always hoped that Randy would run some casting workshops as his resin is some
of the best !!
Rick
Have to tell you Chris I really enjoyed the transformation !! Awesome build, impeccable paint job
and really nice attention to all the small details.
Thanks for posting this one !!!
Nice build, wish there was more casters out there putting these great rigs in resin. Great build as
a great tribute to a great truvcking movie. Remember sitting in the front seat of the family station wagon watching it at the Drive IN !!
