  1. After hearing some mixed results from Chrome Tech, I decided to try them after a buddy of mine showed me his rack from them. They have incredible customer service & I've had some great results.. despite my rack being overloaded

  5. Hey guys, I have recently launched a new line of photo etch goods. As an avid builder of pro touring, resto mods & lowriders, I wanted to fill a void & make some cool parts for myself, but I'll share! Here is a little promo spot Dr. Cranky did for me. I really appreciate that Cranky! http://youtu.be/q4ib4-jYRps?list=UUFr1hRvC11BGMtPfrD2bCvg The site is http://www.detailjunkees.com & here are some of the fun items you'll find there.
  6. Thanks to James & Bob for vouching for me. Yeah, mailers add up quick. I found using usps flat rate small boxes are the best deal that include tracking & insurance. I sent an item in just a regular envelope, but did registered, so I had proof & that was $4 & w/o insurance. . So $5.25 all you can eat for the small box. If you end up ordering more than what fits, I'll happily eat the cost difference.
  7. Hey guys, it's Dig of the Detail Junkees. Thanks for the fair assessment of the situation. Simple glitch & all better now.
  8. 1st of all, my apologies for not being a larger part of this group. Because of user friendliness, I tend to hang on the Facebook modeler groups. I was googling model car demographics out of curiosity & was just pondering the same thing & totally agree. Catering to the next generation is huge. Sure those of us deep in the hobby can & will find all of the hard to find parts, spend 3-10x the amount of the original kit cost to get the results we desire. But those generating their interest would definitely benefit from having something cool right out of the box. & to those who share the "who cares" mentality,wow.. narrow minded! I guess since you guys are already catered to, you can feel that way. Makes sense I guess. All the more reason to cater to the next generation.
  9. this looks great!! definitely want one. any thoughts of making an El Camino from this body style?
  10. Hey guys, Our club has been offered to host a contest and am looking for options as to how to properly display them and keep them safe. It will be for an Autorama show and the builds will need to stay overnight and be somewhat protected from the 1000's of passerbys. I've seen a couple different plexiglass covers at shows I've been to, but have no idea where to begin looking. Any insight would be highly appreciated.
  11. LOL. that's not exactly new music either.. some good old 90's hip hop in the background. Thanks for the compliments!
  12. Hey guys, just thought I'd share this video of our clubs recent builds. This was for a friendly buildoff with another club on another site, but I am very proud of the work done by everyone here and was curious to see what the MCM crowd thinks [media=]
