Got the body painted duplicolor bright red, stripped the wheels and repainted them model master steel not sure if I am going to keep them that color but for now I think they look good.

Thanks guys and yes I am planning on painting the rims the chrome doesn't really go with the style of the car. I'm thinking red for the body color also

I found some slicks off of a 68 Dodge charger that fit and was very happy to find a pair of wheels in my parts box I think they look way better than the other wheels.

I cut my stock exhaust off and have some headers that I'm going to use and I'm glad to know that the tread can be removed because I was planning on doing that thanks for the tips

Bought this kit a couple of months ago with plans on building it factory stock but decided making it a street and strip car would be cooler. I had a 396 engine that I wasn't going to use that fit with no problems so I decided it would be great to use for the car. I also am working on a roll bar for it which is something that is knew to me and I think so far it is turning out great. All comments and suggestions are welcome since building drag cars is something I usually don't do. I thought it would look good if I painted the heads to make them look aluminium not sure if I am going to keep them like that though. Roll bar so far.
