  1. Calipers look great nice, Nice machining work.
  2. I have been working on this here and there when i have some free time, Been mostly doing body work and getting the door and front end lines good. Nothing worth really posting, I had some free time tonight and started on the wheel tubs, I wanted to get these done before i prime and paint the chassis. i have one roughed in and still need to add the back filler panel, I wanna make that part of the tub. They will be painted matte black and the tops will be done in carbon. I added pins to the chassis in 3 spots to make it easier to locate the tubs to the chassis for fitting and final assembly.
  3. Scott, Sounds good. I will have extra cash ready, Also my stuff from you came, very nice top quality stuff.
  4. Ok i quit, lol. Love seeing your work Dave, always looking forward to the next update. Should be getting closer to chassis time no?
  5. Dam Dave, Killer work, you are really stepping up your game on this one.
  6. They look great Scott. What would the ETA on this stuff be? didn't notice if you posted that. Joe
  7. Sorry to hear about your loss Scott, I just had to do that last year to my dog he had a tumor and couldn't pee. Really shame because he was healthy otherwise, about 2 weeks later i went to the SPCA and picked up another best friend, really helped the healing alot.
  8. Very nice parts list Scott. Definitely want to put some of this stuff on my promod build.
  9. Sounds awesome Scott, appreciate all your hard work on this.
  10. Great work, motor looks spectacular.
  11. I don't see the engine and trans pictures, seems to be some posts missing.
  12. Nice work Wayne, That rear end and wheelie bar setup looks great.
  13. I still see the photo's Ted, You can't see them on page 11?
  14. Here is a picture of mine, Keep in mind this is when it was the 1/4" tubing. The 9/32" tubing is that much bigger, I don't have a current picture of mine now with the 9/32" tubing in place. I know alot of guys try to build to scale off 1:1 dimensions, which is fine and i have done that with anything that i could on my car. If i went with the 5" (5/16") collector it looks out of scale compared to the scale of my body and some other aftermarket parts, Maybe you could offer 3 different sizes on the tree to cover 4" (1/4"),4-1/2" (9/32") and 5" (5/16") ? I don't think in 1/16th scale you would use anything smaller than 4". Hard to say what to do, unless you totally scratch build everything like Dave can and does it's hard to keep everything to scale. This is what a 4" exit pipe looks like.
  15. Scott, Sorry about that. I was doing the window bezel, I misread your post. Right now im running 9/32" tube for my exhaust exit That equals a 4-1/2" pipe in 1:1. I checked the 9/32 tubing in my plastic ruler thing that has all the circle sizes that you can stick tubing through and the styrene tube that is 9/32" actually fits loose in it. So i think you would be able to go right at 9/32" and it would work, Worst case they could be filled down some. I personally can't use the exhaust bezels on this build because of the way i did the exit on my car. That's the best info i can come up with right now, I'm sure Dave will chime in on this also.
  16. Nice to see you moving along on this, If i did the calculations correct for a 6" (1:1) that would be 3/8" in 1/16 which would be to big in my opinion, I would rather see something like 1/4" ID. Also not sure if it was mentioned or not, maybe do some Chute and door levers.
  17. Sounds good, really interested to see how this turns out.
  18. Sick work as usual Dave, what spring rate you running lol. Do use a threading bit on the lathe for the adjuster nuts?
  19. Goggle is good for searching for this type of stuff, That's what i use. https://www.google.com/search?q=turbo+promod+engine+pictures&hl=en&prmd=imvnsfd&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=YIriT-H9OMWQ0QGLu-nsAw&ved=0CFkQsAQ&biw=1680&bih=901 You can find some Outlaw procharged type engines in this 2nd link https://www.google.com/search?q=turbo+promod+engine+pictures&hl=en&prmd=imvnsfd&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=YIriT-H9OMWQ0QGLu-nsAw&ved=0CFkQsAQ&biw=1680&bih=901#hl=en&tbm=isch&sa=1&q=outlaw+procharged+engine+pictures&oq=outlaw+procharged+engine+pictures&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&gs_l=img.3...66417.74791.0.74903.35.11.1.23.23.0.52.519.11.11.0...0.0.Z6n9lmJYHWE&pbx=1&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_qf.,cf.osb&fp=a8ffa1191a685176&biw=1680&bih=901
  20. Brad anderson owns that car and Jay Payne drives it, Or at least use to not sure about now. It's a 2010 body and i didn't find much searching goggle, But i did find a picture of it and at sometime had turbo's put on it. It was built by sinned customs.
  21. Ted maybe we need to get with TDR to do some of these http://www.mickeythompsontires.com/strip.php?item=ETStreetRadial I was talking to Jim (micronitro) about making me a master in 1/16th scale in either a 275 or 315 drag radial for a project i wanna do, I just haven't had time to start drawing it up with the dimensions for Jim to work off of. Then i was going to try and cast them in resin, i have never done that and not sure i could pull it off.
