  1. Nice Job on the windows, Gonna be challenging to make a windshield by the looks. Are they brake rotors behind the front wheels? any pics of those?
  2. Nice work Bart, The roof and A-pillars look great.
  3. Nice collection of parts, can't wait to see what you do with it.
  4. Nice, Can't wait to see this done.
  5. Thx. Guys, hope to have it finished by the weekend.
  6. Thx. Greg, This build will be on hold for a little while, The flashpoint engine just wasn't working for the way I wanted to do my intake . I have been in contact with Paul and he is doing one of his engines for me. Hopefully I won't have to change my frontend to much, I will probably redo my headers and may even run the turbos out front now, Once I get the engine I will start up on it again.
  7. Little update on this one. Had to strip the body 2 times, Was trying to paint it Model Masters White lightning lacquer and kept having and issue with it. So i ended up painting it Dupli-color Dark shadow gray and then hit it with some Tamiya clear. Turned out pretty good, all the trim will be matte black i might also do the bumper matte black. I painted the rim portion of the wheels matte black, Working on a Ross Gibson 502 for it now. I painted the stock hood all ready also but might go with a 3" cowl.
  8. Looks sick Tyrone, Shame about the mustang. Makes me wanna put a blower on mine.
  9. Engine is looking great Chris, I agree the pulley is a bit on the large side. All the effort you put into this build I would scale it down a bit more.
  10. Thx.Rom. Little update, I got the top half of the intake done. Still needs some clean up and fine sanding, I used the mill attachment for my lathe to make it. Doing it this way really limited me doing a couple little things to the intake that i wanted to do, A rotary table would have helped. I can't wait to get a mill it's alot of fun making these little parts, Not sure what i'm doing with the lower half or the throttle body yet. Might do it out of brass or just do styrene.
  11. Your killing it Tyrone.
  12. Man that looks astounding Tyrone, Your moving along at a nice pace.
  13. Thx guys, I'm having alot of fun trying to make my own parts, next is the upper intake then on to the front rotors and hats. Hopefully after that I wanna try to make the MSD mag. As far as trying to make wheels, Who knows once I get a mill I might try to.
  14. Thx. Chris, My lathe is an old one my Dad had back when he flew Rc planes, I bet it's about 26 years old or more, It's a Taig. They actually still make them, He use to build his own parts for his planes. It works fine for me so far, I don't have a mill. I will be using a milling attachment on the lathe, I'm saving my money to get a micro mark or sherline mill.
  15. Looks great in primer Chris, I can't wait till i get to that part myself.
  16. Steering column support turned out great, Thx. for clearing up the rear section. I wasn't sure how you were putting it together.
  17. Thx. so much guys, As far as paint goes i hope to have it in primer in another 2 weeks i hope. Still have to add couple more bars and tabs, As far as color goes , Really leaning towards a pearl white or maybe german silver i really have no idea yet. Not sure if i will do graphics or not, Tonight i finished the foot pad and it will probably get a grip tape type material to finish it off. Also got the master cylinder mount done, The lines will go into the chassis then exit in front of the firewall like they are going through the frame. My end mill bits will be here this week so i hop to start on the top part of my manifold.
  18. Nice Job Tyrone, your kicking butt.
  19. Nice work Greg, Where did you get the material for the pedals?
  20. Looking good Niko.
  21. Thx. Chris, One of the first caps i did i lost when it flew out of the tweezers lol, Then i had to make another one. They are so darn small, Hope to have a picture of it mounted in the frame later. The springs came from this Harbor Freight kit. http://www.harborfreight.com/200-piece-assorted-spring-set-67562.html Alot of little useful springs in there, If you can't find any let me know and i can hook you up.
  22. Thx. Guys, Built the master cylinder last night and turned some caps for it, They will be anodized red to match the beadlocks. Will make the mount tonight and get it finished up.
