Need some opinions guys, This is the TDR rack sitting in the frame. To me it looks to big what do you guys think? I may try to make one on my lathe, if i do any ideas what i can use for the boots?
Welcome to the forum, your english is fine don't worry about it. That camaro looks great and super job on machining those wheels, where did you get the tires?
Look at Tyrone's builds in this section of the forum, He has the outlaw and promod cars down to a science. He starts with the pro sportsman chassis or one of the other prostock kit chassis, I'm sure he will chime in later. I know the 1/16th promod i'm building i based the chassis width off the body and the motor and trans.
Thx. Fellas, Glad you are enjoying it. I made the fuel and oil cells and turned down some caps on the lathe, I couldn't find any measurements in 1:1 for them so i winged it from pictures. Let me know what you think, They still need some finishing.
Thx. for the info guys, i was in contact with Dave at AITM but he never got back to me the 2nd time, I just emailed Gary at GW. That tri-axle looks amazing K McLucas.
I decided i wanna build a tri-axle dump truck. I was looking at the AITM 15' heavy duty dumpbody kit and would like to use a peterbilt truck. What would be a good base kit to start with for this kind of build. Looking for some insight and maybe what aftermarket parts to use for the suspension and such.
Looks great so far Jim, One suggestion. Your upper roof bars, You may want them to be more straight and square with the tops of the windows otherwise it may throw off The funny car cage part.
