and also a little work on the tank on the backside now make a messurement for the sidewalk and rearfenders with a compartment for the tools and couplings etc and than the rest ppff i have no vacation yet jacobus

have a little bit time to work on this old icoon not much but its going nice and make the grill with a very small pencil and thootpic black sorry for the photo its not the best on this side the fenders and the strip are already painted blue the sleeper is already in the primer now i am only thinkin wath color white and blue ore mercury silver jacobus

alain , a friend of my make also models but he has drawings 1:1 and can make it how it must be , or if the truck is in a museum he make a lot of pictures how everything looks and what kind of things the used for the real truck , but he has never made a old truck like i do i dont sel my models i put them on the shelfs , if i make one soob than i go for the right stuff and build him correct but for my and many others its a hobby for relax and fun in what you build and enjoy in that kind of hobby , its make no different in what kind of models you make trucks , vans , cars , militairy if you like it just do it i have seen work from you and its great and nice if i found a very good drawing of a truck than i go for the exact model , but for the future i have a corbitt and also a hayes and from both are very little things to find so everybody keep on modelling and for my real work keep on truckin jacobus

guys , before i start this project i have look about 3600 pictures of the autocar archives [ black and white ] most of teh pictures with info said u-90 - deluxe cab with tandem axle straight and tankbody and a other name was quick removable cab so i take a old autocar dump chassis with a timken rear axles , when the tankbody is in his place you dont see not much of it [ a only replace the axles forward ] there is not much info to find of this icoon from the past the tank was a former revell that i cut and saw to the size i think that was correct [ messurrement i did from a photo of the wheels ] also the distance i calculate this way now first i make the tank how i think it must be correct very soon pictures jacobus

so after dustin ai start makin a tank for this one , look about 1000 pictures of autocar and so little to find from this thats for now jacobus

the diamond reo has his blue , for me looks it oka , a little work on spots with white and than put it together ,de mercurybox must be his primercoat before paint him the second one is without fueltank and fender jacobus

a little twisted titel it must white -blue but oke you knows wath i mean and i wil do the mercury sleeper but in color and not alu-silver look [ most votes ] also a buddy of my said do the mercury so if the wheater is nice and shiny i wil paint a dark blue fenders and top of the hood and side of the cab jacobus

starded a week ago with this old one streched the chassis for put a sleeper on it , stil dont known witch one , a able with a cut out for the exhaust , the mercury or the one from the gmc general for now pictures with the able sleeper [ must stil paint him ] mercury and make him with 2 hole wheels the toolbox i have buy some years ago on ebay from bergers , good and nice one so thats it for now jacobus

randy , i am wait for more time and do a lot of others projects [ two trucks a now build is for a kind of contest , just for fun to do it ] and the mercedes actros megaspace is ready [ you can see on the forum ] and the international i have already make the chassis almost ready and the interior but in several weeks two ore tree i wil go along whit him jacobus

almost so good als done i have 2 boxes in the stash but i wil make these no more with these fueltanks , i like a challenge but it must by fun to build and no ..... here some picture,s the decals i do it over but these are not in the correct position jacobus

harry , thats easy to say , we have here not a enough space for conventionals and the roads are not so wide as in the usa and also lenght regulations by law , thats in almost every country in europe different and also weight of the total trucks is a point i hope that i make it a little bit clear at that point a friend of my has once owned a kenworth w type , but he has Always problems on factory,s to enter and also on the plant so at last he drive,s between the two countrys and drop it and another unload the tanktrailer now he has a Volvo fh16 for that work , now i buy him with my brains and not with my hart he said jacobus

aussie resin is out of bussines due healt problems i have also the cab and make him with a gmc donorchassis never see the resincab on aitm list , lets hope that it wil happened someday have my build and with some specialmake support for the cab its looks nice [ can see on this forum , only its a way back ] its stil one of my favorit to have another one [ thats also for the crackerbox ] jacobus
