outstanding stuff. I have used it to replicate texture on bottom of Manx and on corvettes both in 1/25. Great scale effect. covered with acrylic or enamel only, per hte instructions. One problem. It takes a while before the contents come out as a spray rather than a stream. Spray off subject until you get it to spray like paint. joe.

Are all the boxings of the AMT/Ertl 442 W30 the same? joe.

so how good is the detail on the vette? as good as the 1/16 Cobra? joe.

i have seen several on eBay and i am not sure which would have the best detail. Would it have the same level of detail as the '69 Hurst Olds version???? thanks, joe.

Thanks KC, i remove all the mold lines and sand/polish most all parts before painting so i can rarely take advantage of this method even for Tamiya-quality kits. joe.

Ahh, D'adorio chromes???? i also like http://www.amazon.com/Radio-Shack-Heat-Solder-64-010/dp/B001TQMBA6 if you are comfortable working in metal this stuff is great. Another advantage to the lead wire is you can flatten with a hammer for additional shape control. joe.

Anne, What kind of wire are you using? I use lead fly-tying wire when i can because it forms easily and takes paint great. About the smallest i have found is .015. joe.

I have read many articles the intent of which was to describe a faster way to build. Some of those articles advocate leaving parts on the sprue to make spraying easier. My question is what happens to the connection point when you remove the sprue??? You have to touch up right? How does this save time? Plus you usually use a brush to touch up so how does it look? As you can probably tell I don't do it that way, but if you can convince me it is quicker, I would give it a go. Thanks, Joe.

LaGrange, about 6.5"!! Decals dry every up off the floor. No sewer water just seepage. Some of the cracks looked like fountains. Mopping up to start soon then shampooing. Rented plenty at 7:00am. Are you ok? Joe.

I used Gunze acrylics quite a bit in my airplane days. I used distilled water 15 parts to 1 part Liquitex Flow Aid as a thinner. otherwise it is very prone to tip clogging air brushes. Can't say i ever brush painted except touch up. their quality is tops and their grain is very fine. joe.

It is hard to tell since i always buying tools. But i buy kit, paint, basic p/e for starters. That is easily $60. I am near $150 just for details alone for the 1/12 Enzo Ferrari and that is half what i sxpect to spend. It is however a once in a lifetime build for me. joe.
