i use their sandable primer and clears on non-tamiya paints. I have heard very good things about their chrome. joe.

This kit is definitely too big for the box. Keep it on top of the pile or you will be rewarded with a crushed body. Mine was ok.

I want to darken the flat aluminum i am going to use on several parts to get some contrast on a bike that is all shades of gray and silver/aluminum. I remember reading somewhere that you can use enamel to tint alclad is this right? I also have a very dark Alclad Jet Exhaust that is very dark that i could throw in. Here are mine: the orange is a '63 i am second owner. the black is the Japanese made version but updated with real pickups and heavy guage wiring. All set up by Joe Compagna in Chicago. They both play identically, like butter.

oh oh, that will be the first two part paint finish i have done. That means the level of orange will depend upon the depth of the orange applied over the yellow right? Too much and its time to start over. And it means each orange coat has to be dead freakin' even. how do i do that?

I have the same kit and made the same cooments. I will probably build it with closed hood and fix up the front suspension/block. Someone also said the interior is wrong but i have not done the research yet. I wish Model Car Garage would do p/e for the 68, 69 and 70 Mustangs (other than Shelby). Joe.
