  1. I am doing the factory tri-power engine. I have the Model Car Garage p/e set for the car, but i was hoping for better air cleaners at least as these are quite prominent when you pop the hood. Thanks, joe.
  2. My recollection of the "nightmare" rumors is the fit of the body over a completed chassis with engine. I hope you have been test fitting as you have been going along. All of your assemblies look great. joe.
  3. You are certainly right that the '60 body is like a jigsaw puzzle. joe.
  4. can you tell me the difference between the kits for these years? are they the same? I believe the '60 has a different, right? thanks, joe.
  5. Great work and quite inspirational. Do you think Hiro's set would work on the Dino GTS as well? joe.
  6. Thanks guys, I am now waiting on the good 'ju - ju' All the best, joe.
  7. I just bought the 458 Italia and could not be happier. I am ordering aftermarket p/e and wheels from Tuner Model Manufactory. joe.
  8. There are at least two sets from Acu Stion. Mine should be here this week or next and i will post pictures of them. joe.
  9. I was looking forward to making more progress with my ongoing projects, a 1/12 BMW K100 motorcycle and a Ferrari F-50. The F50 is basically stalled waiting for Carbon Fiber decals and the bike is stalled waiting for parts also but there are plenty of components that can be advanced so to the workshop i go. Everything i touched i screwed up and redid. Of the three items I actually did, three had to be redone 2 pf which left marks which i fear may be visible. I should have never gone in that workshop. There was definitely bad Mojo...
  10. Mostly muscle cars and exotics in 1/24 or 1/25. Some in 1/12 which may be either race or street and 1/12 motorcycles street only. Joe.
  11. I forgot to ask about the shocks in front. Are those the kit shocks? They look great
  12. Thank you for the suggestions. joe.
  13. outstanding. thanks for the hinge tip. mine is under the bench waiting for some p/e parts from Acu Stion. joe.
  14. I was wondering about those side rails. Do you know if the 1:1 side rails were open ( ] ) on the inside or if they were closed ( [] ) ??? It sure would be less work if open was scale. Great work so far. thanks, joe.
  15. And i want it to be old school rail, without the sheet metal panels in 1/24 1/25 reasonably accurate or correctable with after market pieces, Which model would you suggest?? I remeber a Don Garlits model when i was much younger that i love building that would qualify but cannot remember the details. Thanks for any help. Joe.

Very clean and a great looking build. Which kit is it? joe.
  17. Frankly, my LHS, will order anything i want, it only costs $1 or $2, I don't pay shipping and "handling" and I get an hour of conversation. I have only ordered Aoshima and Fujimi kits online. All the rest come from the LHS. I would really be lost without it. joe.
  18. Man, i wish that was 1/12. Good luck with the build. joe.
  19. work just as hard on your full recovery as on the models. best of luck. joe.
  20. It would have been really nice if they were all in the same scale. I have the '66 in 1/25 but both the '64 and '69 are 1/24
  21. I had a '72 Challenger inY4. I am putting it on a '70 Challenger for old time sake. It won't be the same but i don't think there is a '72 Challenger body available in 1/24 . Joe
  22. how do i get Barnes and Noble to get it as an ebook? I would like to have it on my Nook. joe.
  23. I have one very close to the top of the build pile. I am interested in your paint mix for the block. thanks, joe.
  24. If i would own it and drive it, I would consider building it. then it just a matter of finding an accurate model. I like models with lots of available aftermarket detail. joe.
