take the magnum 500 rims found in revell ford & chrysler kits and carfuly cut center out this is very time consuming but very easy & cheep.ive done this 100`s of times to make steeles look like dogdish with trim ring this will work to make rims deeper or not as deep by sanding ring.just recently i took the crager rims from 66 nova left 1 set alone for rears & using my exato with the back of a #11 i caught the ring just above the spokes at ruffly a 45 degree angle and keept spining rim with my fingures till i cut through sanded ring glued it back and vwoila front rims that the center s/s emblem sticks out above the ring just like 60`s gassers.hope this helps u or at lest gives u a idea.good moddling to all.
