the 426 wedge was was offered from mid year 1962 till it was replaced by the 440 in late 66.dodge & plymouth performance versions (max wedgs)were stage 2 early 63 - stage 3 late 63 & 64 till replaced by race hemi in late 64.thanks to my mo-par bible writen in 74.

wouldnt it have been cheeper to use the mpc 70 supper bee ( $13.00 Vs $21.00) or is the RR frame different ? just wondering ive been kicken around the idea of doing this to a 63 plymouth & 62 dart ?if the RR frame is closer isnt the new 69 gtx the same ? its only $14.00?or is the amount of work just the same? and you used what was lying around?thanks mike.and your RR is lookin great - keep up the good work.

273, 68 and newer 318,340,360 are LA motors (small blocks) 67 and older 318`s are poly motors (wide blocks) .just a little info 4 yonger crowed.mike

no problem.i use to use easy off but had problems with it -if it dryes your jacked - so ive been useing brake fluid ever since.easy off in yellow can is great for striping chrom - put parts in zip-lok spray enouff in that their submerged in liqued squezz out air and seal let sit over night - ta-da no more chrom even in liqued.never used purple stuff yet but from what ive read its just as good tad pricey.

their under profile ? 5 little stars? befor the change a copple lite up gold - now i got just plain stars agin???? do they mean anything??? if so what?

when i lived in hazard ky it was the only place whith in a 2 and a half hour drive to get models after wally world quit sellin them.the down side is same models year in year out?every now and agin (usaly around x-mass)they would get a copple different kits?i can bet if i walked into hazards M M (and its been a year now since i lived their)they would have 68 firebird,71 gtx,69 supper bee,66 nova,viper,newer mustang & 4 common nascar kits??allways had theis kits from the first time i walked in 2 the last lol.

i striped a 62 buick and i think the bottom layer was from 62 ha ha!it took a few days and a lot of scrubin with tooth brush but it finly came off - the plastic is stained from paint ?but the brake fluid worked just the same as allways - no harm to plastic.

oh yea!my good scores were in junk bin 71&72 mpc grand prix`s 75 road runner & 74 charger all $5.00 except 71 GP tom gave it to me for 75 cents and said merry x-mass.how could i not love this place the only place better was auto know but sadly its long gone now.

NO they just got a good deal on them and when their over stocked they sell them cheep to keep from paying storage fees just like right now in store linberg ramcharger car is $14.00 but mavric car is $9.00 they just have too meney of them-or the round 2 models like out cast,fire truck,66 nova pro street,55 chevy cameo,62 buick all $9.00 just depends on whats sellin and whats not?if they dont get rid of them in store theyll chang price on internet to get rid of them-no fear i bought the last of the novas friday and while i was geting them some one elis bought 30 of the outcasts & fire trucks.so i dought thous will ever get cheeper on internet.they also got some dicast models they usally sell for $18.00 on sell for $3.99 right now they had a few truck lods of them on monday now they only have 2 styles left and only about 20 each of them.i love this place go their at lest 2 times a week so i dont miss out on oop kits or $5.00 parts kits ha ha!good thing its in walking distance ea!lol mike
