  1. This was my first Hudson, just thought I would post it here even though it was "under glass". Nice roundup of Hudsons here!
  2. Nice diorama Rob! It looks like maybe another American Graffiti type movie scene, love it!
  3. Very nice factory fresh look.
  4. Nice job on a great model! I think Revell hit a home run with this kit and your's is a perfect example of why.
  5. That's a real hot rod and I love it! Nice paint and photos. Congrats on a great build!
  6. Thanks, yeah you are right, if you look close I have a can of thinner right on the edge of the bench. I like living on the edge a little bit but, thanks for pointing that out. See this forum is good for a lot of other things. Thanks again AzTom.
  7. I just cleaned it off between builds, forgot what it looked like under there. lol Here also is a sneak peek at my latest build, a "50 Chevy Pickup. I will take a break tomorrow with my two Grandkids coming over to spend the day. May find time to work on 5 1/2 year old's Corvette with her. (Don't forget the half).
  8. Looks good and I love the grill! This one needs to move up on your list!
  9. Never rode the Bus and they were never that cool! The only time I would have needed a bus like that was leaving school in a hurry. Lol

    Big-T

Beautiful! I like this a lot. I like the plain steel rims and blackwall tires. The color looks just right and the headlights really set it off. If I was only going to have two models, those two would do just fine. The '32 is cool! I have the "T" still in the box, having built an original when I was a kid, I want to some day re-live the experiance. Thanks for sharing yours. Oh, and the telephone was really trick back in the day!!!! Love it!
  11. I like it! Hope you don't get too carried away with the fire ( like I use to do when I was your age). Lol. You might really be on to something pretty cool here.
  12. I just ordered tacos over the phone, turned this on and wala! It reminds me of the first Mini Bike I ever rode on. I would love to have one. Yours is cool!
  13. This is some pretty extreme work, hope you can see it through to the end. I love to see these kind of builds, way beyond where I will ever go. How long would it take to finish something like this? I will be watching for updates, thanks for sharing.
  14. Cool idea, and I always pictured them being dropped from airplanes with all four wheels and a parachute. lol. Very educational!
  15. That looks like the "old days" of drag racing at that dragway. I'm sure they can fix the car, glad the driver wasn't hurt.
  16. Poor little guy. I don't know where I would be either without my two best friends. Hope you both get back to action soon, Best Wishes.
  17. I say "Get over it" and move on. I will never have the perfect model! It's nice to look back at my mistakes and to have the will power NOT to fix them. (Although this is hard to do in reality). A friend does two "re-dos" for every one new build. They never come out perfect the second time either, why not just start a new one? He has a very large stash, as most of us probably do, and we are not getting any younger. so what are we saving them for? Or maybe, let's trade and "re-do" each other's. Bottom line.....Just have fun!
  18. Grandpa's truck is pretty cool!
  19. Working in this scale is so neat, makes me wish I had more room for big scale. Nice work on all the detailing, I can see the gaskets between surfaces. How much does fuel cost in this scale. lol
  20. Nice progress! That's a good size load with all the sand bags. I think a little road dust would help maybe. It looks like you are having fun on this one.
  21. I'm finishing up a shiney '50 Chevy pickup, maybe the next one will be rusty....... Man, I really want to see more of this one! Please, please, please!!!!!! Any progress?
  22. ...I was wondering the same thing or is it diecast as Danno asked? Oh and I still like it no matter what it is. I'm guessing the Monagram kit which is styrene plastic.
  23. The truck was the best part of movie, I like yours. I like the drilled rotors and the satin black finish. Nice job!
  24. Easy Off oven cleaner works good but, I would go for the cheap stuff at the Dollar Store if possible, better yet, what ever the Wife has on hand. lol. Right now I am useing bleech and I agree it works fast in most cases but, right now I have a bumper from a '50 Chevy pickup thats been soaking for two days and still has a little chrome. Just a fun test, I can probably brush the rest off right now.
  25. Got to love the Baby Birds! I can almost hear those duel exhausts rumbling! The wireing and plumbing under the hood is fantastic. I'm not a big fan of the spare hanging out in back but, after all said, it is "MOMSCAR". Love it! I wish my Mom would of had a car like this.
