  1. Ha Ha...I think that's the least of his problems. Check these pics out and you can ask the same question
  2. Thanks. The CIWS was scratch build using everything from househould items as well as wood, metal and styrene. The scale is 1/20, roughly. This was my first try at scratch building back in 2002.
  3. Thanks. it is amazing to see what can be achieved in the real world
  4. Thanks guys. Yep it is amazing what is possible. If you do a search for overloaded vehicles you will be surprise at some of the things you will see.
  5. A plastic material I took from my job, that was used to cover some 4x4's It just looked right.
  6. A couple more older builds: __________________________________________ ____________________________
  7. Seems I have not posted this build here. So here it is. This is an Italeri 4 wheel drive 109" LWB kit I bought on Ebay. I am not completely finished with this kit yet. I still have many extra accessories to add, which I'm waiting on. I call this little vignette is called 'Everything but the kitchen sink'. The African driver is proud of how he managed to pack his entire belongings in one go. The idea comes from looking at many pictures of various overloaded vehicles from around the world. Some more rediculous than others. I am adding another figure of a guy taking a pic of the African driver and his personal belongings. Will post pictures when I've completed this project. The figure is one of my first try at building a decent figure so please go easy.
  8. Like the 1/32 toy Front loader from New Ray that I did a couple of years ago, I wanted to do something similar again. Now this trip it is a 1/16 scale Caterpillar Roller CB224E from Bruder. I always like trying some different. Anything that can be made to look as close to the real thing as possible is always a candidate in my book. I think pics say a thousand words. Enjoy: Before: ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ After:
  9. I guess I'm the baby of the bunch here. I've built a total of 3 with a fourth one in the making soon. I'm still new to automotive modelling.
  10. Thanks guys. The scale is 1/24. I took it from an old used kit which I bought over the net.
  11. I like it. Congrats on your first dio. Looks very good.
  12. I am more than impressed by your work. Amazing at what you have achieved.
  13. Thanks Clay. Both were extensively scratchbuilt. The M1075 took almost a month to build.
