  1. Thanks guys. I'll post some pics when I get the chance of the parts so you get to see how big they are. If you ever played with GI joe's action figures then you pretty much get an idea of how big this tank is. I think the figures are the same scale, if I'm not mistaken.
  2. I went to the IPMS 08 Open here in Sweden, and took home 2 Gold Medals and 1 Bronze medal. If that wasn't enough. I also was very surprise after winning two special prizes. 1. a Peterbelt Truck and the mother of all prizes...A 1/6 Pz.Kpfw.II Ausf.B armor tank. Talk about flabbergasted. My first thought when I walked up to recive it, I the hell am I going to get it home? I took the wife and kid with me and believe me there was no room in the car, if you include my seven models. Well, that is another story all together. But seriously, I've never built a WWII tank, let alone in scale 1/6...Ha Ha Ha... To make things even stressful, the whole audience wants to see it done by the next IPMS, which will be next year....oopps. I don't think so. Just thought I'd share.
  3. Will be there.
  4. Thanks Dave. It will take lots to get his old lady back to it's prime condition.
  5. Thanks everyone. Glad you all like it. The base is insulation material or styrofoarm
  6. Just scratch built the trailer to go along with this beast. So now th ecombo is complete. Still have to add some details like chains and locking equipments. Sorry about the pics but it was hell to photograph inside with not enough light, as it was snowing outside.
  7. Thanks everyone. Just added more details, decals and done more weathering:
  8. Thanks guys. that radar unit combo is just something I concocted as a concept.
  9. It has been a while since I posted something. Been busy with other aspects of life - like my daughter turned 1 year old last week. Work and the holidays. I guess you guys know what I'm talking about. Scania Flatbed. Still got some paint touch ups and some details to add: ---------------------------------------- Heavy Haulage Tractor Unit: I have been slowly working on another heavy haulage transport vehicle. This is the tractor unit that will pull the trailer (which is going to be scratch built, more or less). It is not 100% completed yet. Still got some minor paint touch ups, weathering and detailing to get it to the point where I will be satisfied. Anyways, enjoy the pics of what I got so far. My inspirations comes from various tractor units I have passed by while in the car and from looking at pics I got from off the net. The weathering is as usual, a well used unit with many years of experience on the road. The tractor unit is mostly heavily modified from two kits and some minor scratch building.
  10. Another build to be added to my roster: Been working on this for some time now and still got a little brushing up and small details to add before I am satisfied. The inspiration for this little vignette comes from a photo I had seen on the net. I think it was taken in Afghanistan. So far this is my interpretation of such a scene of an IED Humvee attack; The name of the dio would be announced after I decide on the figures: Here is the pic from which I got my inspiration:
  11. Thanks guys. Thanks for the looking and glad you like my rendition.
  12. Thanks.
  13. I made this diorama for my 'Crash' Renault Magnum tracktor unit, before putting it up for sale. This is the result, Unfortunately the forum does not allow me to post more than 5 pics at a time. So I'll have to wait until some post before I can post another 5 pics:
