    Garage Dio

You have an enormous patience my friend and gift for the incredible. I just love you work. A true inspiration.
  6. This is another older build I found in my archives: This gun Truck was lucky, in the sense that no one got hurt. The explosive did not do a colossal amount of damaged; but it was enough to blow off the left front tire clean off it's axle as well as exploded into the engine compartment severing, some major mechanical parts. The Extra armor under the driver compartment took some of the impact, as you can see by the indentation of the armor. The force jolted the truck causing storage to fall off sporadically onto the near by dirt. I am still working on this so it is still n unfinished work. Need to destroy the left headlight and make small damage areas on the truck around the damaged area. Need to rearrange some of the stuff on the truck to look the part. So this is just an overall view of what it will look like.
  7. Thank you Kostas for the support. Much appreciated my friend.
  8. Thanks guys. Wash?!!! Nejjjj. It looks just fine.
  9. Thanks for looking guys. Appreciate the comments.
  10. This is an old man F90 Commander Kit from Italeri which I bought on eBay for about 1.5 years ago. Some parts were missing, especially the instructions but got help Nick(thanks Nick), who kindly scanned another version of the F90, which had more or less similar building design. I decided to deviate from the kit's original finish kit, as usual, and do something different. This building, I called the "Wrecker". This is a private owner's modification that resulted in what you see now. I still have little left to add such as, adding horns, the owner's sign and a little more 'weathering'. Hope you like the results. ___________________________________
  11. Thanks fellows. They were all great to build but most have been sold or recycled.
  12. Thanks Michael. These old models were really great to build.
  13. That's gotta be one very rare kit... Wow!!!!!!!
  14. Thanks guys. This particular build is adapted to suit my liking and is not particular to any replicate that is out there today. Although the characteristics are the same. I know about not seeing a Topline version in the Dutch or Danish arsenal. I have been looking for one on the net but have not come across any. So, although this particular version of my build does not represent any real version out there today(that I know of) it is purely speculative that they ever used a Topline version. ...and you're right, there should be a coke on the dash board, Kostas.
  15. I have been working on a military design Scania R620 for some time, as my interest has always been 1/35 scale military vehicles. I decided I wanted to try and build one in 1/24 scale. I must say that this particular Italeri kit is very good. The chassi of this particular model is beautiful. It looks almost like it came out of a Batman film. You'll see what I mean when you look at my pics. The constructions went well but the fittings could have been better. Regardless, the build went smoothly. Some irretations here and there but nothing too major. I had looked at some of the Dutch Scania trucks and got most of the ideas from their military Scania tractors. Hope you enjoy the pics so far. I am 99% done.
  16. Ha Ha...I think that's the least of his problems. Check these pics out and you can ask the same question
  17. Thanks. The CIWS was scratch build using everything from househould items as well as wood, metal and styrene. The scale is 1/20, roughly. This was my first try at scratch building back in 2002.
  18. Thanks. it is amazing to see what can be achieved in the real world
