I think maybe part of the problem is that it just says general, so that leaves it wide open to posting things un related to models, are you going to rename the general section?, or add to it, for general model related discussion only? What about the model Q&A, if the general section goes back to model related only, wont that kind of make that section pointless then, or are you thinking about merging Q&A with general?

I am not saying an off topic section is a bad idea, but is that not what the general section is for now?, or is the general section supposed to be a general section for model discussion ? And, I dont get why so many of you have this what seems to be hate about people wanting to talk about things not related to models, even at our monthly club meetings, we dont spend the entire time talking about models. No matter what you do Harry, people are still going to post threads in the wrong section, thats just the nature of beast if you will

People think that they are cool by doing it, its the trendy thing to do, and thats what all these energy drinks are, just a trend, people drink them becasue they think that its the cool thing to do. They all taste like piss to be honest, the only energy drink I have in the past drank is Full Throttle, the blue one, I forget the name. Casey, I cant speak for James, but I know we both like a lot of the subjects that the Japanese companys do, but for me, one of the biggest reason I do buy a lot of Japanese kits is, for the most the part, they do subjects that are with in 30 years old (my era if you will), vs Revell/Round2 with mostly older subjects . As for the P/E issues, I probably wouldn't spend the extra on a kit if it had it, I really dont like P/E all that much, at the most, I like P/E brake rotors and thats about it, maybe grills to.

Because car modelers are cheap, the aircraft guys are not, the old saying, you got what you pay for, they pay 100% correct kits and get them, we complain that model kits of cars cost more then $10 , or a not as cheap as they were in 50's( its still the 50's you know), so as whole, us car modelers do not want to pay for the 100% perfection in the kits

That some Japanese company is probably Tamiya, they make one, and you can find them on Ebay, they are worth the money
