  1. RIP Mr Shunsaku Will pour jar of Tamiya cement out in your honor
  2. That box art is really making want to get it, good job Round 2
  3. Id like to have that t-shirt 😀
  4. No it is not a vartion of the new Blazer tooling, its this snap kit just with the Grand Prix race car instead of the off road bikes.
  5. It is possible, I was thinking that as well.
  6. Adding to kits that Stef mention, the C8 Corvette kit has no chrome parts ( side mirror faces, wheels, taillight buckets)
  7. Was never a fan on the Fiero , but its nice to see kits of cars from my kid years getting a reissue. As for which one looks better, I think they both look fine for their respective reasons, I am not sure even if you forced me to choose I could.
  8. Ive done it too , don't feel bad 😀
  9. Hey @Luc Janssens, I think you typo'd the title, its 728 😉
  10. I would use Tamiya's Pink Primer, its really nice and intended to be used for red paint, the benefit to using pink is using less paint to get the correct shade, since you'll be about half way there with pink primer.
  11. More Aoshima, 86BRZ twins with HKS tuning
  12. Another look at the Celica, this time with the interior bucket.
  13. It's an interesting story now 😃, but, I thought it looked familiar
  14. A few more kits from Aoshima , the 2017 NiSMO GTR part of their Snap Car Series, And the Black Lagoon
  15. At the Beemax stand And the underside of Aoshima's snapper EVO III kit
  16. Revell's Fendt Tractor parts trees
  17. Another Charger done, decals from a Ebay seller. Paint is Dodge White Knuckle from Scale Finishes, pretty much an OOB. Had a slight set back with the paint/clear, I got rather inpatient and didnt let the clear set long enough which resulted in pulling up parts of the clear with the masking tape after painting the black trim, whoops, so that was a redo.
  18. Found some info on this one , translated from a Chinese model kit review website. As mentioned above, this model is the first model produced by the square box model, and it was developed by raising funds on the crowdfunding platform. The model was officially released on December 28, 2023, and officially launched on the crowdfunding platform on December 30, 2023. The crowdfunding price is 199 yuan, and the official retail price is 228 yuan. At the same time, in order to allow more non-professional model players to enjoy the fun of the model. The pre-colored version was released simultaneously, with a crowdfunding price of 368 yuan and a retail price of 399 yuan. The original crowdfunding amount was 200,000, which was completed in just one day after going online. In the end, 1,559 crowdfundings were raised, and the crowdfunding funds were 549,000 yuan. However, due to various reasons, the model originally scheduled to be launched before Q3 2024 was delayed many times and was not shipped until the eve of the Lunar New Year in 2025 this year. If it weren't for the fact that the creator of the square box model was still slightly heard of among the civilian model player group, it is estimated that many people would feel that this project was difficult to give birth. (Okay, the one that is currently in labor is the Sauber C44, so Mr. Liu, please hurry up) The retail version is not available yet, and the box I have is the crowdfunding version. It has actually been a while since it arrived. I just took it out to take pictures recently. The box of the model is unusually huge, much larger than other 1/24 scale civilian models. It is larger than the boxes of many 1/24 Italian truck tractor models. Even if it is for giving as a gift, it is quite suitable.
  19. Mine arrived today too
  20. I would buy more domestic kits if more modern stuff was being done, and to be fair , they do a good amount of modern stuff, and I do get those kits, so really my interest is modern subjects, doesn't matter where it comes from, stuff I grew up with. And I agree, it would be incredibly boring if we all liked the same stuff.
  21. I would say 95% of the kits I buy are foreign , the only time I spend money on domestic kits if the subjects are somewhat modern( say like 80s to now).
  22. Adding to what Rob said, it might also include their paint set, Revell is releasing that one with a paint set.
