I have used the ECMS option early this year I believe, for my 5 kits, its $70.34, which works out to $14.06 per kit, about $2 less than EMS($79.94), I might give it a try again.

I currently have 5 kits waiting to ship, the cheapest shipping option that will get it here within a weeks is $79.xx( EMS) , so that breaks it down to $15.80 per kit, close to the number Duff said. Shipping one kit via the same method , EMS is $37, so almost half the cost of shipping one.

I love GODHAND nippers, I had to learn the hard way with my pair of the Ultimate Nipper , I pushed my luck a bit too far and cut one too many pieces of sprue, broke the tip of the blade off, that hurt, I don't remember what I paid but it was at least $50. Replaced it with their Blade One Nipper , little thicker blade, it just doesnt cut as nice as the Ultimate( it still cuts good) .

Not everyone is aware of federal regulations, and unfortunately, my mind reading device has been in the shop for a long time, it never seems to work right, so I had no way of knowing you know them , ya know? -

RED Turn Signals/Hazards : WHY ?!?

Not fan of them in that location either, it does make them a bit harder to notice, but , because of federal regulations and they way they design the vehicle, they have no choice but to put them in the bumper, no sole part of the brake/tail/turn can be placed in a part of the body that opens( trunk/liftgate) -
RED Turn Signals/Hazards : WHY ?!?
martinfan5 replied to 1972coronet's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
For whatever reason when my cars model was redesigned for the next gen they went from amber to red( Japanese brand so its common they use amber) , then the mid cycle refresh they went back to amber , so I bought the refresh taillights so I could have amber to the rear, I was just thinking about this other day, I like/prefer amber to the rear for indicators. -
Revell 2022 Corvette Stingray C8 Z5

Yeah, you are right, some of the US versions in the past have not had US plates, I forgot about the Audi R8 that you mentioned, so its possible the US box version might only contain the one US plate option, but I would be surprised if it did. I can see why you think its funny? -

That is the EU version of the kit, so it has a decal sheet for the EU market, the US box version of the kit will have a decal sheet for the US market, which should include more than one state license plate decals. -
Fantastic Mike, looks really good as a 2dr

Will be adding to the stash.

Here is 3 of 4 of the Dodge Charger Pursuit kits I have built, USCBP Dodge Charger Field Ops , Dodge White Knuckle paint from Scalefinishes, a mix of BilBozo decals and mine own ( the door markings and stripe BilBozo, the car numbers and plates are mine) for the most build out of box build, the only changes I made was I swapped the kit supplied partition with the one from Lindbergs Ford CV ,modified to fit, left out the computer and siren. I added corner LED's on the front/rear bumper , I used the kit included fog light clear pieces that are not used, they are close in size, and you get 4!.

Here is AMT's 1995 F-150 long box kit, boring out of box build, Ford Brilliant Blue from Scalefinishes, this is one of many kits from my teenage years that I wanted to rebuild. The blue is a bit dark, I used Mr Surfacer 1500 which is on the dark side, I should of used a lighter grey primer of white. I also forgot about the front suspension being too close to the front bumper , I remembered when I got all assembled, too late to do anything at that point. I also raised the rear part of the leaf springs as this kit always sat low in the rear and its always bothered me. I removed some chrome for the grill trying to the remove the black paint I used from painting the inside of the grill opening, old AMT chrome is not durable, lessened learned,I thought I could get way with air brushing the black in without masking, nope. Overall, pleased with the how looks, there are things could of done better I think. Ignore the left rear tire, I forgot to glue the wheel back in place, so its a bit lose, and I also forgot the chrome trim around the wheel openings, just pretend its there. And some the black trim paint of the front bumper flaked off when taking the pics.

I have it sitting in my PWH, I got it a few weeks ago after HLJ opened up the orders for it after the pre orders were filled, and now its showing discontinued. Hobby Search on the other hand shows it instock on the Japanese side, it is a bit odd. https://www-1999-co-jp.translate.goog/11077070?_x_tr_sl=auto&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en-US I should have it here by the EOW , just waiting for an instock item to hit so I can ship.
