  1. I recall reading last year, or in 2011, that NASCAR made changes to there licensing to make it easier, and I think to make a blanket type of licensing, again, I don't remember the details, I could be wrong, I just recall saying to myself that it would seem to make it easier for Revell to get back into NASCAR. So I want to know what has changed since Revell got out of NASCAR?, meaning with licensing, did the cost just go up, or what? I am going to have to do some digging on this, well, there still is always hope, I know Revell said that they want to , so maybe down the road they can get it worked out
  2. I dont like that, is that a fact?, or guessing?, either way, I am sad I do know that Revell was trying to get the licensing worked out , and thats what was holding up them doing new NASCAR kits
  3. It all depends on the build and how much work I feel doing , or care for the subject I am building, some more then others.
  4. Its been warm here for a few months now
  5. It would make sense to do that
  6. James, thank you for pointing that out, I forgot the decal sheet was the same in both kits

  9. If you sparyed the clear over bare plastic, then its not frosted, its crazed , Duplicolor paints/primer/clear can be to hot for a lot of kit plastic, there a steps you can take if you want to use automotive paint/primer on models to prevent harming the plastic One is to use Tamiya primer, I know a lot people us Tamiya primer then automotive paint over it, another thing you can do is use Future floor wax and apply it to the bare plastic, then sand it using 1000 grit and then primer and paint, the Future will protect the plastic from hot paint/clear/primer
  10. Yeah, I cant get enough of the 86 kits, I know have of them unbuilt, one thats built and one more on the bench, plus the two Tamiya ones I built, I am still not done buying them I have a problem I think I am trying to take advantage of the week Yen right now, everything from HLJ is cheaper, including shipping, believe it or not, the shipping was $45 for EMS, If I was paying attention, I could of used FedEx and saved $5, well, I thought I selected FedEx, but no
  11. this big box from HLJ made it to me today and what was inside

  14. I guess you could this just a quick build , not a fan of the car, or Honda/Acura's , I got this kit from Sam's-house-O-models a while back, and as you can see, I fought off the urge to paint it blue   , I used Tamiya Met Green, decanted, and I used Future for the clear coat, this was a test goat on applying it through the A/B,
  15. As long as you warm both the paint and the body, and then as soon as you are done painting, bring the body inside, you should be ok
