2014 Z-28 Camaro

To make you ask why -
I do have agree with that, there is a 2011 Charger and the Ford Interceptor in diecast forum already, not to mention the Tahoe's Maybe the Law Enforcement market is big in the diecast world because thats the only area that is doing current vehicles along with older PPV's, I am willing to bet that the market would be a pretty good size in the plastic world if the model company's would produce more PPV kits,

No, and who knows, but I dont think so -
I think their is one thing to remember, where ever its being made at, are just following the build orders and designs that they were given

I for the first time shot Future threw the A/B, very nice, I have in the past used the foam brush method, now I need to remove it for the first time, I got a little over zealous, and went for a second coat, and have runs everywhere, I think I need to lower the PSI some . I have been trying all different sorts of clear coat options, and debating what I want to do, as much as I like the shine that 2k, or even 1k has, I dont want to deal with that stuff, I love Mr Hobby clear , but its hard to get here in the states

What R34 kit are you building?
-
I have used masking tape then used a black sharpie to paint it
-
Right, which covers up all the bottom half of the engine, so really, there really isnt a need for the bottom half of the kit engine to be molded, the down side you cant kit bash the engine , but I am not sure if there is going to be a demand for that in the first place. Top half is better then no half

You do know that is not a final production version, and yes, this is the styling that Ford has been considering going with for the 2015 Mustang, will it look like this, maybe, but all the images of the "2015" Mustang on the interwebs are renderings of that the production version will look like , what is in the picture is a concept design I believe the grill and headlight treatment is a part of Fords, "one Ford policy" Ford has not officaly revealed the 2015 Mustang, this is a rendering

Monty, I think at times, I fail at trying to put into words whats rattling around in my head, I do understand 100% why Revell/Round2 do the subjects they do, its all about the bottom line, and believe you me, thats whats important, making a profit to be able to stay in business. It can be hard sometimes to be a model builder thats in my age range ,if you dont have interest in stuff from 30's-60's , you are going to get left out in away. Dont get me wrong, I have nothing against older stuff, just not my cup of tea for the most part. There are a good amount of stuff thats from that era that I would like to build, just its not high up on my list. I look at like this, just whats being tooled up for the most part, the target buyers for them grew with the subjects, and even though many will say my era of the automotive time period sucks, thats what I know, what I grew up with, agreed, there are many of vehicles from that era 80s-now, that I dont want to see in kit form and wouldn't build either. I would have to think awhile to give you a list, but here just a few that are off the top of my head Mid 2000's P/U truck, I would say a dully, there are a lot of light commercials applications that can be built off of one 1999-2011 Ford CVPI (Crown Vic ) I know its not modern but 1974 Dodge Monaco I agree with Rob, something from BMW would be nice, or Cadillac Brett, I hope you did not think I was trying to argue with you , I was not , and if it came off that way, I do apologize, I know you are providing facts about things, and I understand what you have been saying, and I am just giving an opinion from a builders side that is in my age group. Regardless if Revell/Round2 tool up new subject that I would have interest in building, I still want those subjects to be successful, because if they are, its good for the them, and good for us, and also means that they might take a chance and tool up something that may not sell. -
So I take it the finally came to take you back to your native planet? I kid cause I care
-
Thanks guys, I should have this one finished up soon, just a few small details to finish Yes, I did primer the body, I used Tamiya primer
-
I would love to see some pics of it
-
You are correct, I have been saying if Aoshima were to include an engine with their version that they would blow Tamiya's out of the water. I have built both versions and hands down I like Aoshimas better. You get a better kit, minus engine detail, for less then the Tamiya kit, about $5 less , just depending on where you buy from I wonder if this going to be an engine parts kit, or they going to do a rerun of the 86/BRZ kits with the new engine tooling? I am kind of hoping for just a engine parts kit, it will be easier on the wallet

Chuck, I seen those engine pics a few days ago when Aoshima posted them, I agree, there engine is going to blow Tamiya's out of the water, and by doing this, in my opinion, they now will have the better version of this kit An official announcement will be made on the 10th of April I believe what was said Now what I am wondering, are they going to add this to of the 86/BRZ kits On the stand point of only doing the top half, well once the model is finished, you can not see the under side of the engine, so in that case it does not bother me that they only are doing the top side, its better then nothing I can post some more pics if needed, let me know
