  1. When We were Kids, We just opened the kit we might 0f washed it, if it looked dirty, and scraped the flash off. Then we painted and built the kit. Now that we are older, we soak and scrub the the to remove all of the mold release agent, then we scrap off the mold lines and flash, then we sand the areas where the mold lines and flash were to make sure aren't leaving any behind, then we sand the whole model to remove all iregularalities, then we wash the model again to remove all of the sanding dust. We then Check the model for areas that we may have to do over, and for ares thar need filing with Glazing compound (We did remember to remove those ugly manufacturer's labels didn't we? ). We then wash it again, and then do all of the filing and smoothing with Glaze. and set it aside to cure for a couple of days. We then sand all Glazing smooth, and finish our preprimer sandig with 320, 40o, and 600 Grit Automotive sand paper wet. Then we clean the body and put on a thin coat of primer and when it has dried we check all of our body work and correct any problems. Now if everything is right we finish Priming and let it cure. We then lightly sand the primer, and clean the model for it's colour coats!

  14. Strange, but Very COOL! Not all young drivers are irresponsible when driving! I was driving a Max Wedge 413 with two 4s in a 62 Sport Fury(my first new car) when I was 14 years old, and I have never gotten a trafic ticket, or had an accident that was caused by me! I raced on the TRACK/Drag Strip, Never on the Street
  15. I voted for the 5 Window, because Norm at Replicas and Miniatures co. of Maryland has based several Great Conversion Body Kits on it! I need them for those conversions!
  16. How about an Earl year 62 Sport Fury 413 Golden Commando with two Carter AFBs? 62 Savoy 413 With Two Carter and race equipment for NASCAR number 42 would be nice?

  18. This what I got Saturday, From Micheals. I used AC Moore 55% off Cupouns on the Models and the Airbrush. I love using Cupouns to get models! Two Five Window Coupes $11.40 ea. Two Door Sedan $11.22 56 Ford F100 $9.56 Badger 360 $18.53 Most of the rest were marked don items! I Think Idid well. 19. They Were 5 cents when I first bought them!
  20. I got a new Talon TG3F Last year for Christmas and I found it to be a MUCH BETTER AIRBRUSH THAN THE IWATA THAT I OWN. and it is MADE IN THE U.S.A. Paasche makes everything for their Airbrushes in the U.S.A. meaning American jobs, and everything they make is to highest standards!
  21. The Chronicles Of Thomas Covenant". are Great books! I just got around to reading Ghost Story By Jim Butcher: Poor Harry Has to Solve His own Murder and Findout who ordered it, while trying to help save his friends as a Ghost that only one person can see! Mean while his aprentice Who happens to his friend and retire Knight of The Cross's Daughter went wild when he was killed! I want say anymore except that it is a very GOOD Read. Can't wait for the next book in the series: Cold Days to be Released! I have read all of the Dresdin Files. I also enjoyed His Fantacy Series! If you like dark Fantacy Morcock's Eternal Champion books are very Good! Another Good Read is Raymond Fiests Kingdom of the Isle Books: Poor Pug Keep losing Family Members, and has now Lost Miranda and Caleb during the Demon attack on Thir Villa on Sorcerer Isle and had to move into The Black Sorcerer's Castle! I have Spent a lot of My time researching The History of the Arab Conquest in the 7th-10th Centries!
  22. Great find. what are your plans for it? My Father had a forest green Impala Wagon 283 with a Power Glide that he bought new. It had every option they had. Later I bought a pre-owned Impala hard top with a 348 Tri Carbs with a blown out Gyro Glide, with only 9000 miles on it for only $200.00, because the Lady that owned it had already replaced three transmissions and considered it a lemon. I put a four speed in it for about $400 and drove it for three years without any problems. It was midnight blue with blue interior and had power everything.
  23. I had a couple of Resin bodies warp when I stored them in a storage building during last summer's heat! Now I keep them all inside where it is always 68 degrees!
  24. Great use of those old imperial Guard to make a Great Model!
