  1. That is gonna be Saweeet! There is a black El Camino rolling around town here that looks suspiciously like that one. I'm gonna dig it. And, for the non-believers of big wheels, don't sweat it. Your builds are always beautiful!
  2. I like it! I really like the headlight doors. Great touch!
  3. Wow! That car looks fantastic! I love it!!!
  4. Here it is, all Orange Crush and White Chocolate Pearl. BMF'd. Pegasus Torque Thrusts. I think it's pretty nice. While I'm not a fan of these beasts, I have really enjoyed building the two I have done. Thanks for looking!
  5. I really like the looks of that truck. I haven't seen many that have inspired me to build one.....that one has. Thank you for showing it!

    Boss 429

Mean mean mean. I love it. Looks like Darth Vader should be in the driver's seat.
  7. Nice clean build Bob. Great job on the flames.
  8. That truck looks fantastic! I'd like to see a few more builds lke that, where they were restored true to the original build. People (me included) seem to restore models, only to modernize them in the end. This one has retained it's original flavor. I love it!
  9. Looks great! I like the Boss hood.
  10. Pretty cool start! Also, it's great to see a different vehicle being modified!!! Awesome!
  11. Sure! I just cut the c pillars off at the first "circle" on the trim, and cut the roof off at the top of the windshield. Then I leaned the windshield back, and re-glued. Easy as pie. Thanks for the kind comment!
  12. That is absolutely beautiful!!! I love it! It kinda reminds me of the one I built a while ago......
  13. I've ordered a lot more from Dennis. He always seems to go the extra mile. The Hobby Heaven board should be interesting now.
  14. Hey, that's some good kitbashing. I like your idea. I find it interesting that you would use the dash from a modern Mustang. I saw a streetrod recently that had a early 2000's vintage mustang dash in it, and it looked right at home. Just custom enough to be unique. Keep up the good work, and keep showing your innovative builds!
  15. I GOTTA see this one finished! Beautiful, and a great color combo!!!
  16. Hey guys, this is the project I'm currently working on. I thought it would make an interesting G-Machine. This kit almost seems to have been designed to be slammed. There is a lot of room in the front fenders for dropping it. The paint is a custom re I had mixed at work, along with a pearl white insert. The interior is going to be a nice solid red vinyl/leather look, with lots of chrome. Fun stuff!!! PS, sorry about the image quality, it was a quick shot.
  17. I sell these cars on Ebay, and I had a fella miss out on an auction for a 57 Chrysler. He contacted me and asked that I build a clone to the one that sold. I got the ash gold laid down this morning. The last one was quite pretty, and I hope this one turns out as nicely. Thanks for looking! Here is the last one that sold. I wish I could have changed the color, only because I find it redundant building the same exact car over again.
  18. That's looking really sharp. I love the color combo!!!
  19. That is a fantastic job! I love it!!!
  20. Wow, that's coming along nicely! Where did you get the inner bed?
  21. Sweet! I love trailers. I don't know why, but I do.
  22. And here's what they are: The Thunderbird is a combination of pewter silver, and a Ford color called Amethyst. It's a wicked color with a lot of odd pearl/metallics in it. To look at it under normal inside light, it looks black. When you get sunlight on it, a pile of odd colors show up. It looks like the sky at night, on a clear night....maybe if your near area 51 or a nuclear plant. Sorry the picture looks dusty, I'm not sure what happened there. The car looked clean to me. This Riviera I painted what Mazda calls "spicy orange". It's a tricoat, consisting of an orange base, and a gold pearl. I had coarse pearl mixed into it, rather than the fine pearl it called for. I like the showy look it took on. It should look pretty sweet as a cruiser. I have a LOT of polishing and buffing ahead of me.......
  23. Hey there folks, rather than post a whole pile of new topics, I thought I would share some of my previous builds with you in one post. These are mostly models I have built to sell, and I no longer have them. I got looking through my pictures and thinking I was crazy to let some of these go, but I'm sure they are off to a good home. Thanks for looking!
  24. That is a fine looking muscle car. Very menacing. Clean build!
