  1. Steve, having seen a lot of your builds first hand when I lived out West I can attest that you have plenty of superb builds to add to this thread. Moving on. The 70's era of funny cars was probably the best in my opinion. I have done a few and have so many more to eventually complete. Here are a few.
  2. And this one here is one of my all time favorite builds. I had more fun building this one and was so happy the way it came out.
  3. Here are a few more Pro Stock cars.
  4. Great job Roger.
  5. Here's another build that I really enjoyed creating. It started with an old Cheez Cast resin body and some kitbashing and scratchbuilding.
  6. First let me say, nice collection of Mopars to be cruising with. Your Cuda is no slouch either. But, I've got to ask. Did everyone keep plenty of distance from the person with the 71 Hemi 4 spd Cuda? Because if that is truly a numbers matching car and not a clone then you're talking about a 1 in 3 existance vehicle that is fetching over $2mil. at auction and most experts doubt that anyone that might own one would never dare to drive it based on it's potential value. If this is the case then hats off to this person for bucking the opinions of the experts and actually driving their very rare piece. Nice Superbirds as well. And you gotta love any Mopar running body color steelies. They just make them look mean. Thanks for sharing.
  7. Top notch detail on the engine Tyrone, as usual.
  8. It's nearing completion. I will have updated pics. to post in the days to come.
  9. All of Roger's work is absolutely superb and I can also say that it was a pleasure to actually meet him in person a number of years back at GSL. That being said I would have to say that out of everything pictured on this link above, the World's Fastest Indian diorama has got to be my favorite.
  10. Body is coming along nicely.
  11. I've worked with a few of them and had no problems at all, other than self inflicted ones.
  12. Spectacular is in the eyes of the beholder and my eyes see some rather super looking builds.
  13. Mike, real nice job on both funny cars. The decals for the Winston car were never labeled as to who made them. There were a few sheets back in the day that were known as backroom decals due to lack of licensing. This may have been one of them.
  14. I always liked that one Dave. If it were real I'd bet it would be a handful.
  15. How's about a few Pro Stock class cars.
  16. Comedy is always nice but can anyone help me out with this?
  17. Here it is Dave. It was one of my favorite builds but it now resides with Jeff Dykes in Seattle. Jeff used to run Nitro Model and has an extensive collection of models built by himself as well as others that he has picked from other builders. Sorry about the dark pictures. I traded this model to Jeff long before I had any kind of a quality camera.
  18. The engine is a Ross Gibson B-1 kit. It throws people off because I put the Hemi decal on the hood scoop.
  19. Shane, great job on the Pisano car and the detail on your pro mod was superb. Mike, the Punisher car is awesome but I really like the paint scheme and the way that the Hooters car sits. Not too many folks ever chose to do anything with a mid 90's era Monte Carlo like that. Dave, you need to finish up the Duster. I'm trying to see if I saved any in progress pics. of it.
  20. This should be interesting. Can't wait to see more.
  21. Then I moved on to this one. And then the latest being this one. I have many more to do but it seems like it takes for ever to complete these.
  22. I haven't done near as many pro mod/outlaw style builds as Tyrone but I do have a few. Oldest to newest. My first ever pro mod style build Followed up with this next effort.
  23. None of those ever get old looking at them, Tyrone.
  24. Every new detail is just more proof positive of what this build will eventually become. Beyond impressive!
  25. Hopefully someone can help me here. I have been without MCM issues for a number of months now after my subscription ran out and I haven't re-upped yet and as a result I have missed a few issues. I am trying to find out if any of the recent issues had a photo spread from last November's Atlanta NNL and if so which issue number is it so I know which one to order from the back issue list? Thanks for any help.
