  1. It'd be nice to have a 1960 Cadillac. Mostly everything is the same from 59
  2. In new Carlisle Ohio theres two speedway gas stations right across the street from each other
  3. Thanks for all the comments guys and I have an ertl dry goods van for it once I get around to it, it'll be a while on that one as I'm slower than a herd of turtles in molasses
  4. Very nice and I thought I put detail in my demo cars I'm very impressed keep up the good work
  5. that engine probably came from an amt pacer/pacer wagon,im not sure what other amc models had those engines
  6. 64 imperial, resin 71 impala,MPC 72 impala,MPC 73 caprice, promo 74 caprice and finally picked up my exterior post van from my LHS. got the 71 off ebay and the 72,73 and imperial for 10.00 total.some guy was cleaning out his garage and brought them in to the hobby store and asked if i wanted them for 10.00 and of course i jumped on that!!!!
  7. Not to steal this thread but had an idea for moebius models. What of they were to make just a set of the 2 hole budds one set for trailers and one set for trucks. No tires just the wheels. It would be easier for us to get ahold of them .I know I have scads of projects just screaming for those wheels.
  8. I use a mixture of acetone and non acetone ill get exact amounts when I get off work and it does just fine
  9. The Joe dirt car was mint, yes but it was a 69 charger 500 that they added reproduction Daytona parts to. While it is a cool movie car I'd rather have the car in its original form.
  10. here it is somewhat built up it comes with the body, chassis, grille and front and rear bumpers.they say the bumpers and grille arent chrome but the ones i got are. the mods if done to this one is cut the front radiator shell,i guess you could call it that, added sheet styrene to the end of the hood to make it look like the hood was folded over the core support, and made the rear roof posts(where the back glass would have slid up into the top of the wagon) thicker using modeling clay, cause there really thin and dont look right fresh out of the box,and added a 76 caprice front bumper and frame horns from a parts box frame.it doesn't have an interior tub but with modifications you can use the tub from the 76 caprices, along with the engine, wheel backs and front metal axle from the same kit. hope this helps, mike
  11. i personally love the caprices as i have all the years but the 71 and 72,and their lack of serious detail make them perfect candidates for demolition derby cars. but getting back on topic my worst kit would have to be the revell 56 f100, i made it 1/3 of the way through building it and it wouldnt go together at all so it got slammed against the wall, shattering it in a 100 pieces. and kenb the caprice isnt really that bad of a kit, its just an old promo tooling, fun and easy to build but lacks in the detail department
  12. The truck is 1/24 scale but it looks more at home with 1/25 scale that's what the car on the back of it is
