Cool beetle in the background Ron ...and your helping Hand in front? I think, she is PROUD - take a look in her eyes! My father was building loooong time ago after teh WW 2 planes of papersheet. As we (my brother and me are twins) were born, he stopped building. My own family? i will comment this... ...sounds like my girlfriend. And he is my biggest fan She is the one, who brought me back to the hobby as i was sick. Also she give me her ideas, if i show her (always she want!) updates, what i am building. Often, when i start a new kit, i ask her, in wich direction i will build and what she is thinking about. Colorchoice, interieur etc. Take a look at my last built, the 57 Chrysler - i was "only the builder" of it. Could say, her hands to make her idea truth I often tried, that she grap a kit to build it herself... My daughter? NO interest. My brother is also in the same hobby. Over 300 miles difference of our homes, we meet and great via mobile or german forum.

Some progress from my 66 Buick. I built the Hasegawa years ago and was lucky, while my brother gave the amt-kit it to me. That was the funny part. the bad one is, that it is a kit, i didn't like, becaus the steelaxle goes thru the engine - it is "just" a curbsidekit...wow. o.k. who cares? the wheels in the kit are also not my taste - the rims, yes. the tires? No way... So i grabbed a set out of my partsbox: ...and what the...? Looks like a SUV?!? I drilled new holes and now - much better The next fault was, to put an other engine like the stock in. You see the wheelhouses open for the stance? I tried built a "perfect looking" engine bay - i gave up. No chance, to get good looking wheelhouses AND fitting the hood...so i glued the hood. Bad thing, i know. Next, i removed the doorhandles and trim, sanding the edges smooth. After filling and wetsanding, i painted the body in the first color and also a layer of clearcoat: Looking acceptable. "What is not under the hood, must seize the optics"

how can i missed that?!? B e a u t i f u l Bedford!!! The weathering is perfect in my view. Not to much - just right.

Nice Hudson. You did a great job on it! is it possible, that the rear window is not fitting correct? I had the same problems (perhaps too much color and BMF?), so i cutted the sidewindows of and placed them for their own.
