  8. Back from holidays and - wow! Thank you very much for comments! It Makes me a little bit proud to get such a positiv feedback. Thanks! Alan, i must search for the can. I grabbed a color in the shelf, thas used on a couple of cars. If i find the name, i will tell you
  9. A W E S O ME !!! Jeremy... x2! ...have you planed to cast it? I would take two or more from it. It is a amazing car. The only one in germany i saw was in a museum in Sinsheim - with lincencplate from Great Britain. Just speechless, as i saw it...wow. Perhaps, its the same we saw in Florida 17 (seventeen! uiuiui) years ago? My brother and i saw one painted with american flag in a showroom. Can't remember, what place it was. Rumors told, that it was the Vector from Andre Agassi. Keep up the great work! Amazing!
  10. cool! like the idea with the rack *thumps up*! This detail i will catch up for an other van of mine...if you do not mind like your background also!
  11. looking good! the violett colored roof matches to the decals. nice touch!
  12. Kevin, with the exhaust i meant the two missing vertical strives per side.
  13. Thank you very much for comments and - for sure - the hole infos Kevin and Ed! Interesting stuff! If i will built another (just try to catch one...), you will get a p.m. for some details. Kevin, i have been properly understood your post concerning the color. If my answer sounds "saucy" - was not my intention! The tires were those "two-peace-green-plastic" out of the kit. I glued them, sanded the tread plane. Then I painted them flat black out of a spraycan late at the evening (about 9-10 p.m.). Thats a side effect of the spraycan: when the air is cold and some humidity, it has a nice semigloss effect. Next i took a circle template with the right diameter... ...and brushed them in more steps white: Here the result: "Simple" and effective work, less the 15 minutes Thanks for your comments again buddies! Motivates me to buils the Pontiac Club de mer - and perhaps other concept cars, if i get it. Thanks!
  14. Like those two-colored paintjobs. Looks good! Perhaps try a clear coat at the next model? The colors will shine more
  15. Well done. looks very nice and clean.
  16. Nice! Well done Al
  17. Looking good! Great job!
  18. Good locking winged-charger. nice! Perhaps, you can give the sidemarkers a little dot of color?
  19. Thank you very much for comments, i appreciate it! I know about the history of the Futura, also about the color and some little details missing at the model (numberplate, exhaust). My point was, that i won't like kind of white on it, because the (in my view) beautiful design will not working properly. Second point was to find a metallic / pearl color, that would have fine metallicparts, wich are in scale for the model. Kevin, i really thought about the scrapped red Futura to build. But my girlfriend loves this car (her choice out of the shelf to build as next) and she has forbidden me to do it, so we have chosen this color. If a catch another kit of it, i will do it.

  22. Cool looking van - i am working on the "foxy box" and the revell one. Both on the finish line. Like the colors. they're working good together. What kind of van is it (named)? were are the mirrors from?
  23. Hi Buddies, today i want to present you my Lincoln Futura - a fabulous Conceptcar in the fifties. I choosed a color like the boxart shows, built it simply "out of box" I started last year in November to build it. All kind of bodyparts (even the chromeparts too) were sanded to fit "perfect" to another. The chromeparts are painted with alclad. It was a lot of work, for a couple of weeks it went back in the shelf, before i was happy with the sanding-marathon and put the filler on it... So, enjoy the pictures Thats it. I had a lot of fun to built this old kit. Thanks for your attention, all kind of comments welcome
