  1. Wow! can't believe, that it is a slotcar. Incredible work!
  2. Couple weeks ago, i sanded the bleached parts safetly, to "see" i little bit more from the decals. for example the roof... ...and the drivers door: After that the body get back for drying and waited for my courage, approached me again to venture. i brushed the places similar before i sanded the first try off. To this point, i was happy with the result: before... ...after: the same from the backview - before: after: for example a closedup before: After: I think, that works better. some more weathering coming up, than its ready to complete.
  3. aaaaahhh....i see pictures again. just wondering the last days, i cant see anything from this beauty. man,...i love it. I think, i must build mine...
  4. Ah, o.k. Michael. Which one is accurate i didn't know. But, in my view, i think, they are the same. Sold under another lable
  5. Hi, second supplement (after my Ghia) while the forum was down and today i am not as busy like the past time to post it. Finished in april i will show you my Imperial Phaeton, Italerie Kit No.704. Nothing special, straight out of the box with some wiring. Enjoy ...i hate this "high detailed firewall"... In the meantime, the runningboards are black painted. Thanks for attetion, comments welcome - as always
  6. Hi, today i will show you a restauration from my brothers Ghia (Gunze sanyo-Kit). Always loved this car in 1:1 and some day i grabbed it from my bro's living room to give it a new life. Before i lay my hands on it: Took this picture when i get it - march 2012! After hard work to remove the paint - what the *** he took for? - and make it new, the a pillar broke more then one time, i won the "war". I made no great changes. Only changed the paint inside and outsinde, made the bumbers new with alclad. It was a welcome variety on my bench between my other stuff. Something to relax Enjoy! After the first shots, i painted the louvers and made a licensplate (forces of the U.S. Army stationed in Germany in the mid 80's) The only thing i missed was to close those silly holes in the rear bumper and - Harry - to make a mirror. The Gunze-Kit has no, in my partsbox there is no correct one. Thanks for your attettion, comments (critism and glory) always welcome
  7. cooooool ride Ray. watched your progress as a still user - came out very well!
  8. With your little changes (mirror, headlights, antenna) this promo looks reeeeeeal better now! Well done Richard *thumpsup*
  9. Michael, this is the mpc-kit: I think, its the same.
  10. Did you mean, if they are different? I think, the mpc (for example the Off Road Van) is the same like the amt Vantom, chuckoo nest, disco van, hyper hut, etc.

  16. beautiful! Good job.
  17. the datails are outstanding and overall it looks perfect Shane! Specially the wiring and work in the body looks real good! Only one thing,...Shane...how can get the engine enough air into the scoop? If i think i see it correctly, covers the windshield the air intake?
  18. so bad you say on the outside it doesn't look in my view. I think, it is the right touch with the pannels on top.
  19. I love that 58 Olds - what a beautiful car with lots of chrome. in the 80's i only was one step close to buy a real car - without driverlicens that time? in the end of a restauration, only to complete? hm,...today i can kick myself i didn't bought it... but last year, i bought one - just only in scale, but now i have one to build . Rich, i love it! very very very fine car!
