Good morning (on my clock), today i will show you a overhauled Jo-Han Cadillac. I love these biiiiiig americans Thats the model i bought on a flew market, before i lay my hands on it: After 7 days ( believe it or not - I am astonished at myself!) ...thats the result: Let me tell some points, that i've done during the built: - painted the tires new and also painted the whitewalls - changed the lousy headlights - build a (think so) correct mirror, but only on on the drivers side - added the mirror inside - added this little side windows in the back - modified the stance and axle in the wheelhouses - some rectifications on the interieur-inlay and the frame, that it fit better Paint is Tamiya gold (TS 21) spraycan with clearcoat. the hood is glued very well before i worked on it, no chance to open it. doesn't matter - the engine is not complete... it is not perfect in all points (wrong steeringwheel for example), i know. Enjoy the pics I am proud of it! This kit has so much details that came out, after i removed the dozen layes of paint. At last: i know, the roof is warped a little bit. Thank you Harry, and sorry, i forgot: before i started weathering, i took two, three layers of clear coat. I used Schmincke Aerocolors for the weathering. I think, the weathering will be removal, if i sanding it wet - at least part of the large.

Hi everybody. I am just working on the 1955 Chrysler 300 "Tim Flock". My goal on this build is to show the racecar "lost and found" after round about 60 years. So...Interieur, Engine is done. Next step was the bodywork as always. I painted it, made a couple of hours bmf-work, clearcoated and bring the decals on. Last clearcoat without problems, i would do the weathering. -> First step should be, to weather the decals with the bodycolor. -> Second step weathering the body, looks like it was lost in a field and the sun, wind made the rusty look i always like. And there, there i made the mistake: as silly i am, i forgott (!) the first step. The result after this work i will show you: Take a look closer: In my view, the decals now didn't look as old as the rest of the paint. I think, the decals are too dominant. Should i let it this look? If not, how can i make it now? should i remove the weathering and start the procedure again? I don't know at this point, what to to...what do you think?

I followed your progress loudless and with attention - it came out spectacular! LOVE IT! In my view, you have a great eye for design, what comes together and look, like it was always so. Perfect!

Looking good Alksander! Well done, like this policecar. Only the antenna seems to be to thick in my view. the one on the right frontfender i most take a 0.4mm silver wire. perhaps a tipp for your next build
