  7. Next step after (much) sanding and filling the body, i scratchbuilt the trunklid: a comparison to the original: The most work is done. first primer to the complete boat with panels and buttom inside, adapted bench, scratchbuilt center console, the lid ready: These works (from cutting the gluebomb-Impala till prime the boat) took from Jan.2012 till May 2012. A lot of filling, sanding...the paintjob was the "lousy" free section. Thanks for interest buddies
  8. Hi, i searched my storage and here they are...some pictures of the progress First a look in the enginebay of the Impala: ...and a look inside: Lets go to the Customboat. The selfmade dashboard: The parts of the body i needed... ...and the first fit on the Hemihydro. you see the backside from the boat at this time is still there. i partly cutted out the sidewalls, to fit the "doors" from the Impala in a smooth line with the boatbody: Sideview: here i cutted out the back of the boat, filled the sidetrim with styrene and built the separation between the engine compartment and seats: ...

    BMW Z8

Hi everybody, her is my last built of 2012. The beautiful BMW Z8. Rare car on the road, a present for my brother. He wanted to sell him, i took it and built it in ten days. Nothing special, out of the box. I only lowered it, to give him a stance that he looks like a sportscar. After the photosession, i sent it back to my brother - he was lucky after opening the parcel. Some pictures, here we go: Thats it. Nothing spectacular. Comments welcome - feel free what you think
  18. Hi everybody, i was busy at the beginning of the new year, so i will present you today one of two last builts from 2012. Lets start with the 1965 Mustang (ex-Hertz GT 350). Take a look at it, before i lay my hands on it: Now, what have i done? I did a "downsizing"...changes the wheels, removed the scoop on the hood, gave him a vinyl roof (i know, its not a extra option for it) and another grill. I smoothed the bumbers and painted it with alclad chrome, also painted the interior in a timless brown. The most work were i has fun was to change the V-8 into a straight six. The Engine had to built out of a 54 Chevy Bel Air into a Ford engine. Some wirings and - voila - here it goes... my Grocery getter from Miss Hertz (thats, while it is lettered on the plates), her 65 Mustang. Her beloved son John is the one, who gave her car a sporty touch. He mounted the scoops on the quarterpanels, changed the stockgrill Have fun with the pictures. A look inside: And a look of my favorite thing of the car: Thank you for your attention buddies Comments (good or bad doesnt matter) always welcome. Say what you think
