  1. Looks great. I built mine back in '84 from the Bigfoot AMT kit
  2. Thank you for the follow up info
  3. Thank you guys very much for the info and pics. The Jungle Jim Monza Funny Car is my second crack at a funny car, my first being the Grrrremlin snap kit over 40 years ago. Lots of room for detail and at minimum Mag set up is a must in the build.
  4. Follow up questions for anyone. I see from the pics above and many other pics online that HEMI's were widely used regardless of "nameplate" and body?
  5. Great thread, starting my Jungle Jim Monza Funny Car and happy to find it
  6. Mike passed away last year, 2016.
  7. Its coming along great! Life happens and build often take a very long time. By pure coincidence, my oldest started build that I work on from time to time is the VERY SAME build. LOL. I started it in 1985. Been on the burner so long that about a year or so ago I had to strip all the paint and decals and start the body over because the white had "yellowed" so bad.
  8. How did the build come out?
  9. How is the progress on this?
  10. Beautiful job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. Jim Raptis Laguna S-3; matching hauler is educated guess based on numerous facts
  12. Assorted pics I've taken, Peterblt, GMC, Kenworth, etc https://www.flickr.com/photos/rktmn/sets/72157645315264882/
