  2. Instead of the thick coat of paint... built up the layers in light coats otherwise you will get runs and sags in it... when doing the strips once u have laied down the tape give a light dust of flat clear over the tape that will stop ' bleed through' and also in between coats of the colour wet sand to make sure its nice and flat..... Hope that helps Stu

  7. Hi what i did at first was i sanded with 800 wet n dry to get rid of all the mould lines... then wet sanded with 1000 to flaten out all the scuffs. Then did the same with 1500, 2000 and 2500. Then washed it with warm water. Then once dry i cleaned the whole thing with pannel wipe... then applyed the primer let that set and sanded with 2500. Then applyed the paint. And thats as far as i got lol..... the paint i am using is 'AUTOMOTIVE SPRAY PAINT' i have used the same brand from the same shop on all of my models ... Thanks stu
  8. When i do it i wet sand the body with 2500 then apply the decals, then wait a few hours and give it a few dust ciats of clear with 15min intervals. Once i have a good thick coat on i leave it for a week or 2. Then wet sand with 4000 up to 12000 and use rubbing compound then polish her out. Hope that helps buddy. Stu
